I do not like these ears, but Hexagon won't let me fix them.

This is a free base figure that I found that I can modify. Right now it needs a lot of work in order to be useful.

that maybe a too high poly count for poor ole hexagon

hmmm, but I do not know how to reduce poly count. Is there a free program that will do better than Hexagon for this model?

    coffee isn't just weekdays

    weekends is the luxury coffee.

hmm need a new mug "i survived another week at the office and all i got was this wonderful mug"

doh, forgot to pick up a powerball ticket. now i'm gonna have to hike up to the stores today.

...I just stick with the Megabucks. Not as large a draw as the Mega Millions/Powerball plus you are nor required to divulge your name publicly (which means not suddenly having all these new friends and family members you never knew you had). Even though the payout is smaller in comparison, At my age it still would be more than enough to retire permanently on.

Which reminds me, have to head to the corner store to get a ticket for tonight's draw.

Who ever thought it was possible to fill a 750GB drive? :bug: :bug:

I know. I remember saving up the almost $500.00 to buy my first hard drive - a whopping 10 MB (that's megabytes kiddies). Last week I spent $90.00 on a new 3TB drive to add to our Drobo bringing it up to 17TB total storage.

Heck I've got 2 64GB thumb drives setting on my desk and between the wife and I we've got a drawer full of 1-2GB thumb drives from various trade shows/cons. It's easier to get a GB+ thumb drive at a trade show than it is to get a t-shirt these days.

I remember the Commodore 64 I got for my wife. It had a tape drive, cassette tapes! Then we got a floppy drive for it...it took the 5.25" floppies. Eventually we also got a 3.5" floppy drive for it. I had seen in these Commodore magazines that some company had created a rig that had a 20 Meg hard drive that would hook up to the C64. I thought, "Wow! All the games and the Geos stuff we have would fit on there with plenty of room to spare!" Then when I got interested in programming, my brother-in-law gave me an XT PC. And a friend upgraded it to a Turbo XT. I had a 40 meg hard drive in it. I thought that was amazing. Now the operating systems won't even fit on that.

I am sexy... well maybe 30 years ago... I don't own a sword... will a butter knife suffice... and I do have a complaint.... maybe... is there a pose for genesis or M4/V4 included with the Scar Rider vehicle thing.... looking at the promos I still have no idea how a person would be positioned and no promos or driver pose listed as included... I haven't bought the product so maybe it includes one... if not my complaint is why can't these vehicles, cars, planes have at least one pose for the people driving them included.

I only work with the base AoA SSS, no presets, what I have been doing is studying all the generation 5 characters I have that use SSS and now Vicki and Gia 6. Prior to Gia I've used HSS base. I then modify, carefully, lots of trial and error, but saving in increments and render after render. Persistence and time is what's most needed.

...when I loaded in David5 for my Forsaken Daughter pic, I noticed all the SSS channels were already active.

Same with Aiko5, Vicky5, and Steph 5 and surprisingly, all of Smay's characters (Mavka, Nata, and Stalker Girl). Interestingly, the Genesis/3DUniverse characters all use the V4 UV.

Still have ours, too. When we were using it, I tricked it out with the better keyboard case. And we had the monitor. It's quite nice, actually. I've used it a few times when my TV went on the blink. Small, but very sharp and great color. Fortunately I had the sound going through my Receiver already, so that was no problem. It was tough watching that tiny screen, though. 13" is hard to get used to after having 27". When we replaced the TV we got a Sony 41" rear projection TV, which I am still using. Can't afford the shiny HD stuff. But I use the S-Video input, so the image is actually pretty good.

I think it would boot. But I don't think I'd remember how to make it do anything. We do still have all the disks, though. I had Crossbow. It looked and sounded just like the arcade version, except you used the mouse or joystick, can't remember.

Did you ever get the Geos system? It was cool, gave it a graphical interface with little icons and use of the mouse, graphical fonts. It looked like an early Mac I think. We got the spreadsheet and word processor for it, and even the publisher, but actually we never used that.

...I have a couple fist fulls of 1GB USB sticks from a client that just gave them away.

I remember the "Boat Anchor" (as we affectionately called it) that we had at my old development firm. A 660MB HDD (the biggest I had even seen for a PC at the time) which was the assembly drive for all the data, images, and sound files that we then burned onto CD ROMs. It was physically large, too, about the size of three PSUs stacked on top of one another.

Still have several empty drive bays in the workstation.

It's crazy. The first hard drive I ever experienced was a 5MB (yep, megabyte) RL01 DEC cartridge drive at work. It was HUGE! :gulp:

Now my laptop has 500GB, the backup drive has 750GB, and I'll probably end up with a 2TB USB 3.0 drive next weekend if I don't just choke up for a bloody 4TB NAS or something. :blank:
...when I got my notebook 6 years ago I thought, "80GB how will I ever fill that?"

...then I got into this 3D CG thing.

Still have the Carrara EnvironKit - Woodlands to DL and install, something like 1.1G (and that's the .zip file) Think I'll do that while I go and get my Megabucks ticket.

The first computer I actually owned was a Sinclair ZX-81 that I mail ordered from the UK. It came in kit form so I had to solder all of the components onto the circuit boards myself. I even got the 64k memory expansion pack and put that together. For storage it used a standard cassette tape recorder from Radio Shack with a patch cord plugged into the mic and headphone jacks. Had to set the recorder up to record then remember to un-pause it before you hit save.

Went from that to the Commodore Vic 20 and then to the Commodore 64 with a floppy drive before I got my first PC.

...not sure with potato Wodka as it has a bit of a characteristic taste (which I actually like) Best thing to do is try just a bit and see if it works.

Alcohol curdles milk generally, whether in the glass or in your stomach, it will curdle.

Keep the alcohol cold, use lots of ice, and shake it well.
