Whilst wandering Rendo, I found more WAR VIXEN wear! Check THIS thing out!

    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/grissel-fantasy-armor/99225/

And look at that HUGE triple-bladed thing! IT looks like the triskelion from Krull, only 100 times bigger! :ahhh: She's gonna lose an arm and/or leg tossing that thing around! :ahhh:

It's on my wishoist JUST for that huge tr-blade death dealer. Imagine that flying at your face!!! :bug:

Why is it that SciFi/Fantasy artists create these hugely impractical weapons? I can't figure out any safe way to use that one.

That's why I like the good ol broadsword. Even if I forget to sharpen it, I hit you with 2-5 pounds of metal moving at any speed and you're gonna know it.

...Valandar did a couple over the top tongue n' cheek weapon sets: Wristbreakers and Maximum Overkill

    http://www.daz3d.com/wristbreakers

    http://www.daz3d.com/maximum-overkill

I thought both were freebies, but I can't find Wristbreakers in my Product Library. I was sure I got it. Maximum Overkill is in there, and it was a freebie.

OK, after a lot of arguing, fighting, and otherwise swearing and cursing out loud (enough to peel paint off the walls), I have a new WAR VIXEN VS ZOMBIE NURSE drop! :vampire:

The ground is more ground-y, the eyeballs are watching, the back cliff is more plant-covered.. all good. Still fighting the shadows, which refuse to turn up (ugh). The eyeball surfaces need work as they should NOT be glossy at all.

    But here is today's work!

Hey great, the eyeballs are raising their eyebrows ;)

Ok, I'm pretty happy now - displacement maps in place and activated. Bump maps blow! :coolmad:

Probably the last go at War Vixen vs. Zombie Nurse for a while, I need to work on Olaf and the Shield-Maiden next.

BEER TIME AT LAST! :cheese: :cheese: :cheese:

If it was a Poser item it might be that they didn't have the proper bump settings for DS...they are different, as in Poser black is flat, but in DS black is actually indented from the flat surface. There almost always seem to be problems with bump for Poser items brought into DS.

Poser bump and displacement are scaled differently

I've had a few of those "should have stayed in bed" days in the past couple weeks. Not necessarily anything to do with the weather, though.

A couple weeks at least. I wasn't impressed with it. But maybe it's not too bad. I can't remember what it was that made me think, "Nah." Maybe it was the stretching of the texture. Or the lack of any detail.

I think the Gen1 version came out first.and has been updated to fit GenF2.
They look like the same mesh/textures to me. Both were made by Les Pardew.

Morning all! Got 101 ideas I wanna create, and dont know where to start. Right now I have 3 projects open, all fit together, but all will take long time to do. hmmm, maybe I should finish modeling my first Daz prop that I dismissed before completion.

That Suit for Genesis 2 is interesting, but Its off putting that its a resale convert and not a new creation.

Complaint: I just filled a glass of coke to the rim... then sat down and spilled it all over myself and the chair. Very awkward. :red: Now I'm told to use a straw (Well sippy cup actually, But I compromised with a straw) ;-P

Good evening! I actually woke up pretty late today. :)

There's a lot to be said for sleeping in... :) Good evening!

Like that I'm on summer break and therefore have no sleep schedule? That I'm actually more of a night person? That maybe I'm just a bit of a lazy chump?

A lot to be said, indeed. :)

...well came up with a "meshbash" solution for the runway lights I needed. Used a cannon shell prop from the M1-A1, retextured the shell portion using one of AoA's Metallic Shaders, and changed the diffuse channel on the casing portion to High Visibility Yellow. Then took a funnel freebie prop changed the scaling, placed it over the shell removed the handle and applied the same yellow colour to it. Finally parented the two items together than created several instances to place along the perimeter of the landing pad.
