Melody 2 is out! I want I want! She works with V4 stuff which is cool. Wish there was a way to convert Genesis and G2f stuff to V4.

As it cooled off a bit here was able to do my signature Cajun Blackend fish last night. Looks like hot doggies (Kosher all beef) for tonight as it's supposed to get near 90° again today

Argh, ow I'm hungry and I'm stuck here 2 more hours! (cry cry cry)

Not sure about dinner.. if I had tortillas I''d make chorizo tacos..- maybe a BURGER MADE WITH CHEESE! Whataburger makes kick ass jalapeno bacon cheeseburger, yum! SOLD!

ps. I heart Aiko 3... (red face)

Complaint: I need to reconstruct parts of New Orleans for my Dark New Orleans serial.. this could be the most challengng projet to date! I have a lot of reference material, thankfully. Glad that RDNA just put out Tarot cards, skulls etc. are easy to come by soo setting up a Voudoun church should be a simple process. Swamps, easy, but the suburbs? ARGH!

Non-complaint: WISHLIST REAP! Anything not applicable to one of my writing projects gets deleted! W00t! Rendo down to under $110, Daz down to under $250!

Whine: Dark New Orleans is going to cost to set up.. mrbl..

I haven't decided what to do for dinner yet. Leftover pizza or hotdogs on the grill

...ahh, so you are cleared for the good stuff again?

Not really, but the Whataburger has 3 kinds of jalapenos: cooked, raw, and pickled. The pickled ones are actually mild-ish and don't offend, the cooked ones are pretty stout, and the raw ones will send you screaming into the bathroom the moment they touch your lips!

I''m going for a "light" pickled, add a bite but not too much.. and still no onions or tomato.

I'll only compromise so far...! Hey, I'm skipping beer and booze until I 'm off the dang pills, that's one heck of a sacrifice! (cry cry cry)

...for the church you could try Jack's A Dubious Schoolhouse. Looks kind of like a small church.

    http://www.daz3d.com/dubious-school-house

    PERFECT! (huge grin)

I have a few churches I was going to dirty up and use, but that one will make a kick-ass Voudoun church!

    Thankssssssssssssssss! (cool smile) Affordable, too!

Heh, as if! I have 4 blog-based serial projects going, and face it, War Vixen isn't worth the time to work on unless I make her a LOT more interesting (or more R-rated, like Barberella)!

OOh, too sexy for the sword!

    Whataburger has some great burgers
...wish we had them up here. The closest is in Arizona. Long way to go for a good burger made with cheese.

All we have here are either the normal big chains (ugh) , Pubs (hit and miss), and "hoity toity" bistros with linen tablecloths and snooty waiters that charge absolutely outrageous prices. This is why I just decided it's better to make my own.

...but there are days when I'm out & about and really could go for a well made Burger with Cheese, a big slab of sweet onion, pickles, tomatoes and of course, bacon.

...happy hour calls. Got to get out for a while when the pic I'm rendering is done. Spent a good part of the day retexturing parts of a freebie model I found. Still need to fix a few small odd things (wish there was a control that let you rotate texture tiles as well)

Hey, the rubber "tire" on my wheel mouse finally broke and came off. My first thought was, "Oh no, time to buy a new mouse!" but it works better without it than it ever did with it.
Why was it on there again? :blank:

ETA: Maybe to keep the cheese curl dust off the inside of the wheel?

...bugger, tried to post this from the Workstation but the stupid site software keeps mis-directing me to my account page there (and that has the best connection). So had to deal with transferring the main post and pic to the notebook.

Fresh out of the render oven here's the own I've been working on. Still a WIP but getting there.

V5 with a fair dose of V4 head shape as my Lady Meg (Leela's adoptive mother).

Found this lovely indoor pool set freebie (a complete structure in .obj format) over on Share CG. Had to re-texture the walls because the mosaic tiles kept creating a bothersome moray pattern. The Union Jack I added myself by simply applying the flag texture to a plane primitive and then adding a bump map with he Fabricator.

Her swimsuit is Sickle Yield's Classic Swimwear with the flag motif applied.

    -----

[edit]...bugger, just realised the flag on the wall is inverted will have to fix that. Be back in a while.

Complaint: Just spent 2 hours driving in rush hour traffic (and in Atlanta we're serious about our rush hour).

Non-Complaint: Did that so I could pick up our new puppy. He's actually 2 but he's still very puppyish and he's never seen a stranger - just friends he hasn't met yet.

A bit out of focus and with then requisite glowy eyes but you get the idea...
