ohhh nohhh, i forgot to copy the link and cookie for my Bowker account from my old dayjob pc. summovabeach. gonna have to dig through old pst files for the original email.
    .net .org? ohmygawd, stress stress

    it's all good now.

not happy with 3 of my working titles.

    His Limit
-drakes, dragons, and demons, needs a better title

    Firmly In Cheek
-i can't imagine someone reading that on the bus, not with that title showing
-field team goes back in time to our modern earth. fights a high priest. Princess goes back in time to save the field team. thought it would be a nice change from the Field team going back in time to rescue the princess.

    Cathexis
-space battle with pirates. silly title doesn't reflect the action.

Time to pack up and go shopk, then home for an ice cold dark beer! I think turkey burgers tonight! :cheese:

...just got back from the weekly grocery trip myself.

Time for Big Fat Brat on a Bun Made with Cheese, (along with Sweet Onions and Sweet Relish), Served up with Stekahouse Beans & Coleslaw, and washed down with a bottle of Irish Hard Cider.

Then back to work on my scene. Need to get it done by tomorrow so I can make the PC challenge deadline with a bit of time to spare.

Brat onna bun sounds good.. maybe I'll have one for dinner! :cheese:

Woot, meeting out early! And I did something useful - I wrote The Shield-Maidens Tale!

Olaf and the Giant Chicken - Part 5 - The Shield-Maidens Tale

I'll not follow the norm and quote it all
At this rate this thread will surely fall
It now grows at such an alarming rate
That catching up is now my only fate

The words from Wooly that finny Loach
Are worthy of praise yes even a quote
Five times I have seen that chicken full
Forcing just that extra page scrolling pull

The pages set to total a number of posts
Length of each is not what matters most
Words you type in praise are are the meat
Now my finger just feels as if it was beat

This is not me gripping of that multi read
That Ballad has touched some inner need
I'm just so very afraid the chicken is dead
Before I'm caught up to the posting I'm feed

Slaughtered and dispatched in some way
After a bloody fight on its final clucking day
It's body slow roasted till crispy and tender
Please don't let me miss that call to Dinner.

*burp* I might regret this, but -- today my SO came back from the RPG con (I didn't go this year, guests of honor failed to excite me and I'm feeling sort of old, the rest of the con is all too familiar to me), and we went out to eat some burrrrgerrrrrs. I hope that this doesn't aggravate my gall bladder, 'cuz those were damn tasty burgers.

Yeah, looks like I will have zero regrets in 14 days when my subscription renews. I just used the panel and WOW! It also tells the montly coupon's code!

Well, that's cool! I don't have to go looking for the newsletter or the forum page it's on anymore.

    lean low-fat burgers?

people live with their gall bladder removed, doesn't seem to be an essential?

hoping i'm not jinxing my fate,

but i've never experienced a stone, of gall or kidney. never had a root canal.
when the kids in my hood had chicken pox, not me.
when the other kids were having their tonsils and adnoids removed, not me.

i am prone to sinus infection for some reason. almost did me in a few years ago. lucky the emergency room took me without an insurance card.
prone to poison ivy. leaves of 3 leave them be! :)

...Skiriki, found this treasure of an instrument up in your neck of the woods. A lovely instrument designed in the 19th century French Romantic style. Not only the instrument's ensemble but even the keydesk and keyboard are totally inspired by the distinguished French builder, Aristide Cavaillé-Coll.

As mentioned in the comments there, I wish organ builders here where I live would create instruments in this style.

The performer is only 17 years old.

I am working on my old XP box. I am trying to decide between keeping in XP or turning it into a Linux box.

For keeping it XP, pros are
it does have Sims 2 on it and I believe I still have the disc that I can use to play it. It already has a word on it so I can write right away.

There is Poser 8 on it, but the library was not working when I last checked it.

I only have one wireless device to use between the two boxes. There is an interior wifi card in the box but it is missing its antenna since my step father accidentally broke it when trying to be helpful. He won't remember it as he did not realize he did it when it happened. It is probably cheaper to buy another wireless usb thumb. Need to research to see if they sell them cheap at Walmart or Target.
