cadets would have ranks and insignias, too.

the pin with the captain bars, is that the epaulette? or is the epaulette the material it's attached to?

Motivation is a huge factor in a fight and the fights outcome. Obviously, the worse the motivation the more violent the fight will be, and the more violent things get, people will go into survival-mode (do anything and everything they can to either "fight or flight", thats where weapons generally come into it (But thats the bad end of the scale))

is there a subtle office chair exercise i could do all day to tighten my abs?

doing chin ups is a seperate set of muscles than doing push ups?

i was reading an article about women and chin ups. now i wanna be able to do one. just one.

2nd day without a candy bar. not even m&ms;. those shiny pretty colors bytes of happiness.

this is not the week to quit caffeine. brought LavAzza espresso today. putting on a whole pot!

pushups work triceps and pectorals, Chin ups work biceps among other things.

    thanks.

what's the bump between the bicep and the tricep?

hm, prolly clues in the V4 muscle morphs. it's all like another language though. latin or greek.

i can do leg lifts in my office chair, and knee lifts. don't know what i could do for biceps at the day job.
no wanna look like popeye. lol. would like to look like Linda Hamilton in T2.
    Is 2.5 cep. :)

Zombie Nurse (to the tune of "Spider-Man")

    Zombie nurse, zombie nurse
    She's a serious nasty curse
    Look at her, she's undead
And she's coming to eat your head
    Look out!
Here comes the ZOMBIE NURSE! :bug:

Is she strong? Oh my Lord!
She kills dozens because she's bored
She can bite, chew and claw
Stuff your brain into her maw
    Look out!
Here comes the ZOMBIE NURSE! :ahhh:

In the dark of the night
As you hide there with a gun
    You'll let out a cry
As shes coming at a run! :gulp:

    Zombie nurse, zombie nurse
Look out buddy she's getting worse
    Blood and guts, everywhere!
But she still has perfect hair
Oh no! Here comes the ZOMBIE NURSE! :ahhh:

To her, life is a great big chow down
    Wherever people run 'round
You'll find the ZOMBIE NURSE! :bug: :gulp: :ahhh:

Bloggity post.. quiet day, no disasters waiting for me when I came in from the doc. Too ho outside, though.. an dit's up to 99f.. I'm sure we'll break 100 in an hour or so.

More testing, testing, testing on Hot Project #2. Fixed a few bugs in legacy code, always nice. Now sitting and wathing code run.. snzzz.

Looking at hotels. The residence inn near Portland airport has great reviews and is affordable, but the only way in/out of the city is via light rail or cab... not sure how close the light rail is to the hotel. I'll email 'em. It'd cost about another $200 to stay downtown but it's easier to reach some things.. hmmph. I want to go to a place called the Lucky Devil Lounge, it's highly-rated for a "gentleman's club". :vampire:

Need to buy beer for Friday night on the way home tonight - I have 3-4 errands to run after work tomorrow so I won't get home until pretty late. Either that or put the errands off until Saturday.. will have to decide. :-S

Coffee soon, or I'm going to fall asleep at my desk! :gulp:

    Happy August!

    weather drop:

...very cool start for the new month only low 70s today with lots of clouds. Will be warmer where Skiriki is than here and she's much farther north (if I'm not correct deducting by the weather conditions she has posted actually in Savonlinna, Finland?)

July was definitely the driest in some time, 0.00" of rain for the month. Very odd for a place known for it's rain.

if teenagers from public school and teenagers from a military cadet school encounter each other at a space station's mall food court,
which group is more likely to start a fight? eer i guess it would be a rumble. (Rumble in the Bronx was a funny movie.)

i imagine the military teens would finish the fight? but then again the publc school teens would fight dirtier? (Outsiders was a sad movie, Ponyboy)

no candy = unsatisfied craving is life worth living without candy? complaiinnn - a whole day and half without candyeeee

Allot of factors would influence a fight, ages, their build/height/fitness, their confidence/mental state, any weapons etc

Unfortunately, fights aren't usually a group fighting a group, its more common that a group fights 1 or 2 (as sad as it is). Ive known several military/cadet guys and my opinion was they were just as violent/dirty fighting as your average joe.

At work, I gotta say, the worst fights Ive seen have been women, very, very violent. (Not saying the men/boys aren't violent, but I tell you what, some of these cat fights are pretty high up there)
...when I was growing up back in Wisconsin, the kids at the Catholic school I passed by every day were far meaner and more prone to picking fights than the ones at the public school that my school shared a playground with (I attended a Lutheran grade school).
