i wondered  how i could've missed it.  but 'a walk across water' seems to've disappeared from the shop (and the roads and paths bundle).

    withdrawn?

The roads and paths bundle seems to still be there  https://www.daz3d.com/roads-and-paths-environment-bundle

    thanks for checking, FirstBastion...

yes.  but the daz-deals plugin just gives me this:

    no bridge!

...and the link below "what's included" just gives a 404.   https://www.daz3d.com/a-walk-across-water/

so i was wondering if the product was something you'd withdrawn from the store for some reason.  or if the base link disappearing might just be a glitch of some kind.  it seems like if the set is still available in the bundle, it should be available for solo purchase too?

  • I saw this classic "skeleton climbing cliff image"  reminiscent of  a Ray Harryhausen film done by Joepingleton in Daz Gallery today.  A very inventive way to take advantage of the poses and cliffface in the Cliff and Climb set for M4.   I do like creative images like this  quite inventive!

I used a bit of kitbashing on the Last Chance Gas Station to make it look a bit more like the icehouses I grew up around in central and south Texas.

Saw this zombie survival scene the heroes struggling to survive in a precarious stairwell  appropriately name Flight of Stairs  by Jason Galterio.  Just the right level of chaos.  I do hope the kid starts running.

RCGincy won a Platinum Club contest this week   with his FatBike mountain bikers maneuvering through the trecherous Ridge Walk.  Balancing on that cable is quite the feat!

I don't hit rendo very often  but I saw this flat tire Dixie Jeep image on the old rural crossroads over there.  Hopefully someone comes along to help out.

Saw this epic tsunami crashing into the Last Chance Gas Station on the fb Daz Addicts group  by Pengus McPengus.  It was labelled w.t.f.  moment,  but "run little duckies"  works too.  Amazing postwork.

Looks great, Ivy! I've been waiting for quite awhile to get some exit ramps and/or curves for Divided Highway. But I guess that ship has sailed or sunk.

I forgot I used Rural Crossroads for a commissioned picture last year in a published book... http://drivethrurpg.com/product/218322/Battleforce-Chronicles-Quick-Start-Guide

There is a "Choose your own Adventure" as you learn to play the RPG and I did most of the illustrations. Choose you own adventures for those that do not know is a choice as you read like try and outrun the Hoverbird or try and make the turn at the cross roads. Turn to page 11 for outrun or page 33 for turn. Then you go on to read if you survive the choice and then what happens and how you can continue the story!

This one is titled "HoverBird Misses Hero" so you can tell it was the right choice!

I received a whole slew of notifications from the Daz Galleries this week,  and happily had a chance to  look at some sightings.  I'll try to add a few here.  Thank you all  for putting the stuff to good use in such fun and creative ways.

This ones titled Pussy cat,  by Derek Carlin,  apparently stealing the Crown Jewels set on the Medieval Promenade.  I always like the good sense of humor images.  Classic Mother Goose Rhymes.  Good inspiration.

Really like how you turned it into an entire city.

Great intense action shot,  with a really dynamic camera angle by JoePingleton title Hold on Tight,  and notedin the description was the use of cliff and climb poses.  originally for M4 but converted for Genesis2  All set in one of Stonemason's great Urban Future locales.  Nicely done!

Here's a great example of some kitbashing that I like to see with the environments sets.  Tear it part and use it in various ways.  SirTancrede took elements from the 1stbastion Wilderness Waterhole,  and dropped it in front of a mansion in the distance added some trees and created a rural countryside estate for his characters.  Works well with the atmosphere fog.

City Bill Board props where very helpful in creating it

Blast from the past.  I noticed this promo image for Adventure Hero for original Genesis1 on the long retired Hidden Waterfalls.   I never noticed it before.

    Hey! I recognize that image!

Actually this is the first time I noticed this thread. Thank you for the shout out!

(Though, seeing it here, like this, makes me wish I did a better job posing the rifleman. That pose just seems so awkward now.)

  • Casual Springtime at the Last Chance Gas Station.

  • Another Daz Gallery Sighting,  this time Leonidas sporting his new two headed flail weapon at the dungeon entrance by MDO2010.  Older set but seems to tranlate well to iRay.

I saw this image by CoyoteVisions in the Daz Gallery today with the new toon roaches exploring and searching the Grasslands stream.
