Is warmer here now than it was at lunchtime \m/

Strange indeed. We've had some nights recently when it was warmer at midnight than it was at high noon. Warm fronts, cold fronts, eminent fronts, meh.

holey crappe. used to be able to buy an mp3 on amazon and d/l to computer.
they've got it rigged now, no matter how you click it you can't d/l music without installing their frikkin cloud player.
when i go to return the 3 songs i just bought, digital order #s don't show up to click cancel or refund.
tremendous headache now. so aggravated, doing my best to ignore anyone standing in my doorway wanting something from me.
wishing i'd stayed home today. i was supposed to meet my new manpower rep today, so i braved the ice. then they canceled the meeting.

could've been home holding my buppy in my arms. but noo-oh, i'm hear being miserable without any christmas songs.

I can still see the Elasmosaurus figure in my Product Library, but the product itself is no longer in the store. A pity really...

I don't have that one. I have a bunch of sauruses, but not that one. Was it one by Dinaural? Maybe it's over at Renderosity.

I don't know... I don't think so, but I can't see who the author is.

This model's entire geometry is based on a real model of an Elasmosaurus, the largest of the Plesiosaurs. (This is what Nessie is.) The texture you see on this Elasmosaur was created specifically in a way so as to help give it realistic muscle texture and contour.

I just noticed that the southwest U.S. is sparsely populated. There are a few towns between Salt Lake City and Reno, NV.

Well, I found this, but it looks like different textures, so I guess it's not his.

Just hang on to that, then. You don't keep the zip files, eh? At least it's in your history. Have you looked for the ReadMe file for it?

The thing is, and it bugs me too, Dinaural retired many of his early products stating that they no longer were up to today's standards. I say who cares? They still render great and are often the only RIGHT version of some of them. It would not bug me if they put out new versions of those that were pulled but that too looks like it will never happen as they have moved on to other models now. I'm bugged, I'm sad and I'm glad I got all the ones I did when I did.

I re-downloaded it and checked the ReadMe, and it says it's by Expression Image not Dinoraul. :)

A friend of mine and I were talking about some stuff via DA notes and he expressed his hope that DAZ would make a Wyvern 3.0 and a Millennium Dragon 3.0. I've been hoping for such for years, but there's been no dragon-y updates in sight. I imagine if they ever do give the dragon family of products some love again, it'd be a SubDragon 2.0 and not a new Wyvern or MilDragon.

Or something like the Horse 2 or Big Cat 2, except a Dragon?
    I wouldn't mind seeing a Cat 2 or a Dog 2.
And someone really needs to make a Cow morph (If they can make a Llama and toy ponies, why not?) out of Horse 2 for poor Sockratease.

But there are cows that are pretty good that I just got last year. I think they're Noggins. Different species, too, including Brahman. They're not that old. I don't know why everything has to be reinvented with Genesis tech. Just because you can, doesn't always mean that you should, or even that you need to.

oh I bought myself a Christmas Present
a Nikon D3200 single lens reflex camera which is 24MP
still want a macro, wide angle and fish eye lens'es though.

not used a SLR for 30 years, used to look for bugs and stuff and do closeups! and had to wind film onto a spool in a wardrobe to put in a developing tank then lock everyone out the laundry at night so I could use my enlarger with all the windows covered and a yellow light getting developer and fixer all over Mums laundry troughs so she whinged about the smell.
is easy now, can put my SD card in my computer or a kiosk at mall.
24MP maybe I can do really BIG bugs and creepy crawlys with added Daz humanoid victims!!!
