Contest and challenge: Spinning "Sci-Fi Aiko"

Quoting from the thread "Contest and challenge: Spinning Vicky in a Temple with a Sword!"

Oh, man, I so wish I had known about this when it started! It sounds (and looks, based on all the renders I've seen) like it had to have been a total hoot!

Well, maybe next time.

(I really gotta start scoping out the forums more thoroughly!)

Tell you what - let's have another contest!

This time around, we're taking inspiration from the Anime Star Fighter freebie, and going with Sci-Fi Aiko. Just like Kattey's challenge last month, put your own spin on it. It doesn't have to be Aiko (although I am biased toward her, as my forum avatar image shows). She - or he - doesn't have to fly the Stinger or wear the Mech Girl outfit or have long Mitsu hair. (But if you want to show A3 with Mitsu hair, wearing Mech Girl and flying the Stinger, more power to you!)

It does have to be a sci-fi image of some sort with a human character in it, but you get to pick your definition of sci-fi.

The Rules:

* Images have to comply with the forum's TOS.

* All renders must be new. You can post them elsewhere after you posted them here and enter in other contests if you so wish.

* Any rendering software is acceptable, as is postwork - but please tell us what software you used and whether you did any postwork.

* Entries have to be posted to this thread. Entries will be accepted starting just after this post is made, and going until 23:59 Daz Time on January 31.

* I'll announce a winner on either February 1 or February 2.

* Your Aiko or equivalent isn’t obliged to actually spin. :p

* EDIT: Enter as many times as you want, but you can only win one prize.

The Prizes:

EDIT:
First-place: a $25 DAZ3D GC, courtesy of robkelk
Second-place: a $15 DAZ3D GC, courtesy of kurisu2112
Third-place: a $5 DAZ3D GC, courtesy of kurisu2112

Good luck, everyone!

I'm very touched to see another 'spinning' contest. Thank you, robkelk!

Are we limited by a number of entries? I.e. only one picture or it can be several but only one can (obviously) win?

Well, with only one prize, there can only be one winner...

Enter as many times as you want. If other people volunteer prizes, then you can only win one prize.

    What the hey, I'm in!

This will give me an opportunity to do something with Aiko, whom I rarely (try, almost never) use.

All I can say is "Thanks". This thread gave me some inspiration after a bit of a creative slump. So, without further ado, here's my entry to the contest, entitled "Freefall". Aiko cuts loose with the laser weapons after a criminal attempts to flee from the scene of his crime. What's cooler than a laser shootout? How about free-falling down a maintenance shaft at the same time?

    Items used:
    Aiko 5 (Genesis 1)
    Dark Moods for Genesis
    Sci-Fi Candy
    Science Fiction Pistols
    Alphabase

    Postwork:
    Motion blur done in Photoshop
Rons Sci-Fi Flares used for lasers.

    Here's my first entry....

As you can see, I went full-bore stereotype with Aiko. As for the rest, well.... I would blame the Martinis, but the truth is..., I'm just weird!

    Items used:
    Aiko 3 (Well, DUH!)
    Mech Girl outfit
    Mitsu Hair
    Skyrider
    David 3
    Simply Cool for D3
    Michael 4
    Bad Boy for M4
    Relic Hunter Essentials
    Dark Places 2k9: Back Alley

Image composed and rendered in Poser Pro 2012, no postwork (because I totally suck at postwork!)

Title: Uppity Women From the Future #1: The Carjacking

    Love it! :-)

I'm still working on mine. I will probably have to layer renders due to puny computing resources. I might finish tonite.

    ...thank you.

Indeed it is and the original Aikobot at that. I have Aikobot2 as well, but the original (while requiring a bit more work to pose) is just soo darn cute. Considering she has a gold texture and I have Ant Farm's Magno Strider I just couldn't resist.

    Also Used

FirstBastion's Rolling plains with the dunes texture
    One Advanced Ambient Light
    One Distant Light
Skydome from Stonemason's Urban Sprawl 2
HeroFX for the starburst light on the Magno Strider
AoA's Fog Camera with haze effect and Fog multiplier set to 75
    Postwrk signature.

Took all of about 6 min for he final render.
