It is frustrating when someone who knows nothing about art looks at my artwork and then suggests something for it. I told one person that I can see what I do but unless it is a paid commission I will not guarantee I will do it.

So I finally had a chance to try a Dos Equis lager on draft, with a seafood enchilada.

    Both were very tasty!

So there, I finally got my beer. We can close this thread now.

Morning. Gentle but persistent cool breeze stirring branch and leaf and mobs of pigeons and mynahs in the trees in our garden, Autumn is here for sure today :)

...I've had similar results trying ti use the built in UberSurface for 4.6. I have since changed to the new SSS shaders instead and experience much better results with them.

Can't believe what a drama it is to buy a wool sweater, wool ought to to mean wool, not wool mixed with other stuff :\

THIS!! As a ex-big time outdoors type real wool clothing is the boom. It keeps you warm even when it gets wet. That extra not wool stuff just lets the cold in.

    Something went terribly wrong

I've had that problem after an incomplete reinstall. In my case, I had uninstalled, wiped, and reinstalled the latest DS-4.6 (to fix a 32/64 pathing issue), then reloaded an old scene, and found a bunch of errors in the log about being unable to load shaders (as well as scene like you have, major white-face). After reinstalling the Uber* packages (which loaded a bunch of .sdl files into the now-emptied DS install directory), the errors went away and the render worked as it should.
