It is kinda windy in Washington, D.C. Baltimore area.

Antivirus program thought one of my programs that I wrote is malware. Geez. The same antivirus program even thought OpenOffice.org has a virus. Stupid false positive. Glad it didn't complain about Daz Studio or my games yet.

...on the scary side. there was a 7.2 Magnitude earthquake just northwest of Acapulco Mexico Yesterday that also shook Mexico City. Third quake in less than a month.

Late last week there was also another large landslide, this time in Jackson Wyoming. While the deadly one in Washington state was attributed to heavy rains, scientists have no idea what is causing this particular event.

This is beginning to become just a bit worrisome.

This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the Great Alaska quake, the most powerful ever recorded in North America that was measured at a magnitude of 9.2. Most of the deaths were attributed to the resulting Tsunami (as far south as California) instead of the quake itself. This quake was what is known as a "subduction" quake, similar to what the Northwest coast would experience should the fault along Cascadia Subduction Zone slip. Not only would it produce strong quakes inland but trigger a Tsunami that would pretty much wipe out the coastal towns as well as affect inland cities like Kelso WA and Portland OR due to tidal surges which would travel up the Columbia River.

    Itchy. Can't wear it.

I can't wear 100% wool either. Yet, back in my teens and early 20s I wore 100% wool sweat socks with my sneakers during the winter months with no problem. Then all of a sudden they itched like crazy, and I had to stop wearing them.

My mother was a seamstress, and she sewed all my clothes all though school, until I started working and could buy my own clothes.
When I wanted a nice pair of 100% wool gaberdine slacks, she had to completely line them with a fabric that wouldn't bother me, or I would've been scratching constantly. No fun.

I've had that problem after an incomplete reinstall. In my case, I had uninstalled, wiped, and reinstalled the latest DS-4.6 (to fix a 32/64 pathing issue), then reloaded an old scene, and found a bunch of errors in the log about being unable to load shaders (as well as scene like you have, major white-face). After reinstalling the Uber* packages (which loaded a bunch of .sdl files into the now-emptied DS install directory), the errors went away and the render worked as it should.

There's some simple but rightous reason for that effect but the memory just won't come out from wherever it is stashed :)

Can't believe what a drama it is to buy a wool sweater, wool ought to to mean wool, not wool mixed with other stuff :\
THIS!! As a ex-big time outdoors type real wool clothing is the boom. It keeps you warm even when it gets wet. That extra not wool stuff just lets the cold in.

And the best ones of all are if you can get one made from Norwegian Oiled wool.

Managed to get something with local wool in the end http://www.kathmandu.com.au/mens/tops/knits/divide-crew-top-men-black.html

    non-itch! kewl

    Merino natural temperature control
    Anti-microbial, lightweight, super-soft insulation

if i order it now ground shipping, maybe would get here by next winter

camping bunk beds   http://www.kathmandu.com.au/sleeping-gear/beds/camp-beds.html?currency=USD#!currency=USD

For a two storey tent?

(yes, the .sdl files are installed into .../shaders/omnifreaker/surface/ (or .../shaders/AgeOfArmour/Light if you prefer), and if they can't be found during the rendering process, error message and "white-face" occurs ^_^). Merry Easter btw (^_^)n

~ROFL~ I read that post the other day and never even noticed that. I'm assuming it was a typo, but it's funny no one noticed until now. :coolsmirk:

...I've been on so many forums and blogs concerning the unemployment issue, that I think I've become immune to such language.

Most of it from uncaring and insensitive trolls.

There are days when I'm on those forums that I wish they had half the TOS we have with regards to insults and bashing.

    ...complaint

    Bank fees.

Just received an emergency wire transfer to my account and noticed there was a 20$ fee deducted for that service.

I remember when banks actually served their customers.

Seems like the it's gone the other way around these days.

A few years ago I opened a bank account for a nonprofit I was involved with. Asked if there were any charges that needed to be paid and the bank guy looked me in the eye and said no charge at all. Opened the account on the spot and the guy goes thanks and hits the account straightaway with a $50 charge. I go WTF you said there was no charge. The bank guy looks me straight in the eye again and tells me it isn't a charge, it's a fee.
