They look great, but seem to be lacking what I loved most about the original Millenium Dragon... Dragon Folk.

One or two picts looked like they could almost be humanoid, but not quite. Any chance of a new generation of Dragon Folk?

The current rigging does translate quite well to bipedal forms. :)

    Agreed, very nice.

Thanks for that peek; I was already going to buy it, but am now among the eager. :)

Just a heads-up, I'm also very open to buying bipedal pose sets and clothing, especially a bodysuit. ;)

Speaking of the one Sickleyield and I did together...

This includes 92 new original sculpted morphs and 25 full dialed character presets, plus additional presets to mix and match! We had so much fun making it!

    Wow!......I am sold on that!

Gosh, thanks! We're huge fans of your work.

And thank you to the others who have said nice things about it, too.

DA's biped looks awesome. There were just so many exciting PA ideas with the Dragon - I know I"m going to be spending some money when it's out. ;) I NEED Wither.

Love it. I wonder if there'll be any related support for G1, pose-wise and stuff... I'm thinking "no". (What happened to all that "we'll be continuing to support Genesis; G2's not a replacement" crap anyway? 8-/)

Oh well. At least in the dragon they've done something I can justify tossing a few bucks at. I'm actually pretty impressed with the DAZ Original stuff, going by the preview. And I love what you've done with it too, RA - the Witherdreki in particular. :)

So, does all of this mean that we're going to have a DAZ Dragon 3 Pro Bundle?

Sure looks like it. I see barding and tack on some of those dragons. We got barding and tack in the Horse 2 bundle. Only thing unclear is whether DAZ puts together a selection of items and *calls* it a bundle.

There is sure enough stuff in these promos to cover the current bundle practice of releasing a good-sized package now, and then following up with an add-on collection a week or so later.

No replacement for the Eastern dragon (which is a bitch to pose) but that's kind of a specialty item.

I’d be thrilled if there is eventually a quality update to the Eastern Dragon.

Meanwhile there are things I like about what Sickle Yield, Anvil Design, and RAW have done with the dragon. I’m looking at the dragon and the options shown thus far in anticipation of how I might craft them together to create the mythological, magical, sleek and awesomely powerful aerial acrobats I envision. (Everyone has a different idea of what a dragon is and that is part of the mystical beauty of the beast in my opinion.)

I do have a number of questions about how this dragon was put together, but I’m waiting to see what information is posted with its release. To be honest I have some worries about the quality and structure of the wings and how they are attached, but we’ll see soon enough if those worries are valid or not.

So... can I hope for the Dragon tonight? I've had a really lousy day, and could use some retail therapy, but I'm holding on to my money for the Dragon...

I wonder if the Pro Bundle pricing is correct. Character pro bundles typically contain 15 items with a regular price in the $250+ range. The Regular price of the 9 item Dragon 3 Pro Bundle adds up to only $173.55.

I just noticed that the Promo Page lists the Dragon Textures as part of the Pro Bundle, but the Pro Bundle itself does not include them.

I'll check where things are in the morning and see if I need to contact sales.

I've noticed that "DAZ Dragon 3" says "Required Products: DAZ Dragon 3 Pro Bundle"
How can it be possible? Is that a mistake?

I would suggest it's a glitch, would make it pretty redundant if you need the pro pack to buy the base pack.

I'm also getting some kind of glitch that redirects you when you try to look at what's included on the base pack.

Im sure these are just teething errors and should be sorted out relatively soon.

Yes, it looks like the final bit of text beside the main promo pic is a link to the Pro Pack, and the end tag's missing — so the link goes all the way to the bottom of the "Additional Information" box.

And it looks like not all the new stuff is actually appearing in the New Releases page just yet.

On the promo page, it states that the Base Dragon also contains morphs - is this the DAZ Dragon 3 Morphs product?

No, I believe the DAZ Dragon 3 Morphs pack is a separate set of morphs giving a large variety of head and body shapes.

The Base Dragon includes pose controls and expression morphs.

The DAZ Dragon 3 Morphs are included in the Pro- pack though.

MFM kindly posted the Base set inclusions here until the page is fixed http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewreply/612395/

    ah thank you! :D

The link on the base dragon has been left open so I havne't been able to clearly see what is included with the base one as it automatically takes me to the pro bundle when i click on "what's included".

    Interesting effect:

What's included and features tab - click on it and you end up on the Pro Bundle page ... so fast you can't read the what's included page

    LOL - EDIT:
I should have read the rest of this thread!

"Wingless Dragon Geo-graft"... Thanks for listing, that's helped me a lot - I'm looking at a lot of the shapes and thinking "I could use it more if we could lose the wings" - so we can get rid of the wings if we want, cool.
