    I'm going to hold off until I see EVERYTHING for it released. I'm not sure about the Pro Bundle to be honest.

    Yeah, I skipped the Pro bundle and went à la carte. Base + morphs + textures. I'll probably be done when I pick up SickleYield's package.

    Okay... I'll set this thread on fire, I'm afraid.

    DAZ Dragon 3 is definitely missing something for me, there’s something wrong about it, but I cannot tell what. Perhaps the morphs didn't hit the bullseye with me. It is exaggerated. Either too clump or too skinny, without any kind of head ensemble, so to say, sometimes looking slimy. Oh my, I don’t want to rant… Tell me to shut up. I’ll not buy it at the foreseeable future, but I hope you all enjoy that new figure :). The set Sickleyield showcases (I couldn't find it in the shop though) looks quite nice, so do Hellborn Dragon (but does it require the base figure or not? There are no requirements listed) and, to some extent, Terrorsaur (because I enjoy crocodilian-looking creatures, although I'd prefer a simple Tyrannosaurus Rex instead). I like three images so far:

    a) AN APPLE A DAY... => http://www.daz3d.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/d/a/daz3d-pop-up04_war-armor-for-dragon-3_.jpg

    b) I AM SO WEE I ENTERED UBERCUTE STAGE... => http://www.daz3d.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/d/a/daz3d-pop-up06_daz-dragon-3-textures_.jpg

    c) PAYING A VISIT TO MOTHER-IN-LAW... => http://www.daz3d.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/d/a/daz3d-pop-up01_ridged-plate-armor_.jpg

    For a comparison...

    DAZ Zygote Dragon, Mil Dragon 1, Mil Dragon 2, Sub Dragon, Dragon 3

    All more or less out of the box (I discovered I didn't have any poses for the Zygote dragon) with just a base texture. No morphs/add ons.

    I'm really impressed I can see enormous versatility here, I'm not particular with my dragons I like a nice variety and I think this one give that.

    First quick render.

    Since the pro bundle came in at just above my budget, I decided to just buy the dragon at this point. Will wait for Sickleyield/fuseling's morphs, and RawArt's Raw Energy Effects. The Dragon's Gold looks good, and I will need poses. Could use more sleeping dragon poses.

    All the materials for the dragon are also giving me this message.

    I got that message, but it had a % 4 0 in the path (without the spaces, if I leave the spaces in, the forum changes it to an @.).

    The automatic 10% bonus discount for buying the Jeans outfit the other day, how long will that discount last?

    The Daz Dragon 3 Texture is missing in the Pro Bundle.

    http://www.daz3d.com/sales-promotions they are listed as part of the bundle, and in the promo pictures in the bundle they are as well.

    but they are missing in the what's included in the product page, and there were nothing to download.

    So do we get them or do we have to buy them.... ?

    The textures are included with the Pro Bundle and have been added to the What's Included and Features section and also to the product. If you purchased the DAZ Dragon 3 Pro Bundle already you should see them in your account.

    And if we jumped the gun and bought them separately? I gather that the countdown 2 summer items are not returnable, since any punch discount was applied at time of purchase.

    I don't think that any of the items. except for the Dragon base, that are in the Pro Bundle count for punches in the Countdown.

    Ah. So I see, the punch discount did not apply to the Textures pack. Okay, that makes it eligible for a support ticket. I am sure I can use the store credit.

    Thanks.

    Wondering if someone can help me, I got Dragon 3 and the Dragon 3 Morphs, However, I can't find them anywhere? I even manually re-downloaded the files and added them but when I go to the dragon base parameters I do not see any morphs so I went to sections, eq The head and no morphs just pose options, Can anyone tell me what's wrong? Thank you. I'm also putting in a ticket. Thank you,

    Wow, TWO Pro Bundles in one ONE month!? :bug:

    Next week we'll be seeing Aiko 6 with Hiro 6 in the following week. That will give us the other two weeks to cram in Freak and David. :P

    Okay... I'll set this thread on fire, I'm afraid.

    No fire and no real disagreement from me. ;-)

    DAZ Dragon 3 is definitely missing something for me, there’s something wrong about it, but I cannot tell what.

    I had the exact same feeling looking at the promotional images. Although we are gaining weight mapping and additional versatility with the new dragon, we also seemed to be losing something when looking back at previous incarnations of the dragon. The big thing for me was that the anatomy for the new dragon is starting to fail the believability test in ways that the past dragons didn't. An example of what I am talking about is the anatomy of the carpal bones in the wings and the way they don't line up properly with the radius and ulna arm bones. This palm/hand portion of the wing does not look like something nature would generate or even like something that would function properly. It is a distraction from the believability of the rest of the dragon's design (although there are other minor problems). In the earlier DAZ dragons this area looked much more natural and believable, as did the thinner meta carpals and phalanges making up the fingers of the wings. For good or bad I've come to expect a little higher quality from DAZ's models. No offense intended... Just an honest observation. (DAZ, you have spoiled me with the excellent work on the Genesis 2 figures and other products. ;-) )

    Perhaps the morphs didn't hit the bullseye with me. It is exaggerated. Either too plump or too skinny, without any kind of head ensemble, so to say, sometimes looking slimy.

    I agree that the promos tended to make the dragon look rather plump and heavy. I would have liked to have seen some nimble, agile, dexterous builds for the dragon as well, without them looking too skinny or emaciated. I think I also know what you mean by slimy looking, but I would personally be more likely to describe it as a doughy look. I don't mind that doughy or even slimy look though, because it makes for a better base upon which to create a far winder range of morphs and looks then would otherwise be possible. It is a blank canvas, so to speak, ready to be filled with whatever look you desire. A finished canvas, on the other hand, would be much harder to manipulate and change. ;-)

    Will I purchase the DAZ Dragon 3? I think so. Being the 'horse-trader' that I am though, I am going to take my time and kick the tires. ;-P

    I love the materials of the dragon! I have all the other dragons and each one has its own appeal. But the textures on this are amazing. (Click to enlarge/click again- and look at the tiny details in the wings.)

    Got the Pro package and I'm so happy :-). 'Course I'm a sucker for dragons, so it was an easy sale. There's lots of variation - enough to keep me happy for a while I think. Here's a quick render in Octane.

    Yep, I'm finding the new dragon plenty versitle for my tastes.

    (texture is the default, color shifted to purple... 'cause my daughter loves purple.)
