Oh John, I don't know what to say my friend. I feel your pain, and my thoughts are with you (and your brother).I know the pain you must be feeling, and, as others have said, I am here if you ever need a chat or to vent a little. I have never forgotten the comfort and support I got from you and other members of the Bryce community over on the other site when I had a bereavement a few years back, and if I can lend you a shoulder as you lent me one back then, then please do borrow it.

My sympathies are with you both.

Ok, I now own Vicky 6.

My Renderosity account is still active, so is my RDNA account, so I have swords and temples.

Someday I'll need a Mike to slaughter. And a Stephie, and I guess an Aiko.

I have Rons Blood brushes so messy gore in post shouldn't be an issue.

    What a bother!! :ahhh:

Your old content from DAZ 3D is still there under your old Email Address my Friend. If you knew that the Powers that be (Richard or DAZ_Ann or one like that) may be able to link you back to that account. Could not hurt to look into it.

I'm starting over fresh and minimal. Only buy what I need for a scene,, etc. etc.

If Vicky can't live in it, hide in it, or stick a sword in it - I don't want it!! :gulp:I was more thinking of trying to save you some money my Friend. Why buy a item a second time if you have it already was my view. I did not know you had never gotten the Genesis things so carry on. But as pointed out many things you have bought in the past will work just as well or better in the New DAZ Studio. And I myself only have so much money to toss around on my hobby. Still looking forward to the Music thing...

I had quit at V4/M4 for the longest time.. now going Gen2, so far am pretty happy.

90% of my props, etc. are accessible.. re-downloading them is a PITA, but it's a needful thing and keeps me off the streets and out of.. well, biker bars! Tulsa strip clubs are BORING (and I never thought I'd say such a thing).

Today, firing up Tracktion 5 and my techno drum machine, see if I can't lay down some mad beatz to move your feetz!

Note: An egg roll and wonton soup make a GREAT breakfast!!! :cheese:

@misty and Lee: Thnks! I'll try the normal first, then get the plugin for the trickier bits.. PLUS.. V4 for Gen2 is ON SALE EIGHT BUCKS!!!

OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I BOUGHT IT! *cry* No strippers this month! *cry*

You don't have to work hard or do anything too special to make the auto fit stuff work, zero the target figure right out before you start and it should just work :) In general if it isn't easy you probably missed a setting somewhere

I haven't touched this stuff for almost a year, all the knowledge has bled out ... it's learning curve again. Le sigh.

Nearly lunch! Left leg still hurts, 2-3 more days and it's doc visit time (and I don't have a doc in Tulsa, argh).

Maybe your Austin dr can give you a referral to someone up there. Worth trying.

True. Thankfully, one good night of sleep has helped a lot - and hydrating, apparently 2-3 cups of water a day isn't enough to keep a trout healthy!

    *chug chug chug*

Trout are supposed to be swimming in water. Drink lots more, pour it over your head and body. Don't dry out.

A dry trout is an unhappy trout. Today I'm all damp and happy!!! :cheese:

    The Story Of a TroutFace

Just for hysterical.. erm.. HISTORICAL purposes!

I've been through a few nicknames, and was searching for a more meaningful one.. well, life provides.

Apparently, when I get angry and frustrated, I get a weird look on my face. And given my job, this tends to happen more often than not.

Finally, one of my co-workers asked me "Ed, why do you get this angry fish look when you get frustrated?"

I had NO CLUE I got an angry fish look. I mean, who looks at themselves in a mirror when they're upset? BUT..

OMG IT WAS TRUE! I looked like an angry fish! I have no idea HOW or WHY.. I suspect, having kept tropical fish for well over 30 years, that somehow.. it rubbed off on me.. somehow.

So I proudly bear the office nickname TROUTFACE, and in online chat I am TROUTFACE. Because, apparently, I look like an angry fish when upset.

    ALL HAIL THE ANGRY TROUT!

Ok, this is STRICTLY a proof-of-concept for NVIATWAS - it's only 2 tracks, drums and vocals. It's a test so it's harsh and rough.

It's enough for you to get get a feel where I'm going with this.. think old NIN, industrial/techno kind of thing.

NOT SAFE FOR WORK OR KIDS. Turn the volume DOWN.

    https://soundcloud.com/synthetic_aurality/nviatwas

That IS me singing, processed and distorted all to heck and gone.

Now I have to think where to go.. I have screams (male/female), lots of horror sound clips, I think sword clashes and flesh impacts.

    This could get ugly... :ahhh:

Ok, so does the multi image layer editor not work any more? Or do I load those layers differently now?

No problem with the delay, I'm in or out depending on my work schedule. It is a little odd that the two of us, and I guess Wooly/Feathered/Trout all showed up again in a relatively short time span...

It is very good to hear from you especially.

Wish I could help - never messed with the LIE back in the day, likely will have to learn it to add death wounds to Mike, Stephie, and Aiko.

Stuffed with orange chicken and diet Dr. Pepper.. the 3D cake made me over-full! Man, those pixels sure fill you up.

Spent my last $15 on music.. meditational music and electronic ambient, it helps keep me on a more or less even keel. Rock/metal runs my blood pressure and stress levels up so the Scaly One has gone back to his kinda New-Age/electronic/environmental roots from when he was in his 30s.

I think a little lie-down, then I need to find screams, moans, sounds of horrible pain and torture, maybe an earthquake and a tornado (and yes, fear me because I HAVE ALL OF THOSE IN MY SOUND EFFECTS LIBRARY)! :ahhh:

Back later! I hope Misty shares the cake, it's pretty big.
