Pseudo-complaint: ate too many super nachos, now not interested in going out. Will go have a lie-down and see if that helps.

Non-complaint: leftovers for tomorrow! Beef super nachos, guacamole, egg drop soup, and orange chicken! Don't have to go out except to buy some med supplies from Walgreens, yaay!

OMG so sleepy.. I hate getting old.. naps all weekend..

And all thanks to the mighty Richard for TROUTING ME OUT! I feel so much more.. meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Maybe there is bad connection between my computer and the Daz Store. I just want to look at the promotional renders. The avatars in the forums are loading though. I'll try again later.

Time to pack up and go ut for a few beers and some kick butt live blues!

I'm stunned to discover Tulsa has a hot blues scene, and the silly biker bar a block away is a top venue. I can complain about boring strip clubs, but the music scene is good (not Austin good, but lively), the people are laid back, and the weather is decent (so far).

Despite the fact that the motel I live in looks like Robot Monsters Sleazo Motel, the room is clean and the bed is SOFT AND COMFY, the bus stop is a block away, the Whataburger is less than a block, Mexican is a block and a half, I have Chinese and steak on delivery, and the stupid biker bar is a block and a quarter.

My life has definitely been worse.

More work on the NVIATWAS song tomorrow! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA! :ahhh:

Thanks for the hugs. The arrangements have been made, things are set for Tuesday.

Morning. Iz cold, with the palest of yellow sunbeams knocking on a ceiling of monotonous grey clouds but nobody's answered so far :)

Long busy day today. Had my hair cut in the morning. Then had a pedicure in the early afternoon. Looked all nice and pretty with my purple toes and my hair scrunched and teased into lovely curls.

So what do I do? I go the the gym to hit the pool for an hour with our gym trainer /facepalm Bye bye lovely curls, hello natural wave. lol

also, I seem to have lost my legs and had them replaced with cement bricks... >.>

...good to see the name change went through

Music-wise, Olympia WA was an interesting place as well. When I was there it became a hotbed for the NW indie music scene in its own rite even with Seattle only 60 miles to the north and Portland OR 105 miles to the south.

The most unlikely places produce the most amazing art.

I spent this eve with a blues/metal band discussing pickups and playing technique, even though my cold dead fingers can't feel the pick or strings.

Even the least likely turn awakens a new path.

I was born to this mirror world as human and like myself here on this side of the mirror. I try to live as a good person and help others as I would like others to help me if I was in need. On the other side of that mirror I found Jaderail looking back one day, he is just that a mirror. Opposite to this human in most every way. But he is just as much me as I am I find, just in ways I am proud to say, that I do not practice on this side of the mirror. I let myself fall into that mirror and there I am he. As Jade in that other world all the mean, nasty and evil has a place and even sometimes helps others more than any pain that may be caused there. There it is fight or die, good is very good and evil walks the land in many forms. When I return to this human side of the mirror I can leave all my aggression behind on that other side and walk this world of grey meanings doing the best I can without needing that other side to be carried into my world.

Tjohn, I am so sorry for your loss. I will certainly continue praying for you and your brother. Your mother was a very lucky lady; she had two loving, caring sons. May your days of sorrow be lightened by memories of happy times with your mother.

if someone gave me a penny for my thoughts, I would be robbing them blind!

... just one of those days where I feel I never woke up!

Oh well, better than those days when I feel I can conquer the world - then notice I have my shirt on inside out, my shoes untied, I can't even do the easy Soduku (instead of the 'exceptionally difficult) and realize the only reason I think I can conquer ANYTHING is because my brain didn't come in to work that day!

    night all :cheese:

    +1

I had to see my mom being torn apart by cancer and the treatments at a really early age (Was like, 16 or 17 at the time?) and... I don't even know how I could bear to see it... Hurt so much, so I know how it feels. Really sorry :(
