Some good football on today! A real defensive battle between Green Bay and Miami, and an insane massacre by the Ravens.as the murder the Bucs. :bug:

Pizza and hot wings ordered.. wheeeeeeeeeeee!

Rendering frame 98.. just 202 left to go.. :blank: :blank:

...not going well for the Green & Gold late in the game though down 24 - 20 with only 4 min left and the Fins have the ball. Looks Miami is just one more team to have figured out how to contain Eddie Lacy. The only team he had any decent numbers against so far this season was Minnesota last week.

2:22 to go and Miami has to punt.

OK, seems ESPN needs some software support as well. The Play by Play on the Box Score page indicates that Miami punted and isn't updating when I refresh, On the main page however it still shows Miami having the ball though moving backwards and picking up first downs.

Indeed it was Green bay just scored with 3 seconds left in the game to go ahead 27 - 24. Seems they have the two minute drill down pat.

In the collegiate circuit, Wisconsin must have heard my complaint for the stuck with the running game and guess what? They won.

TCU and #5 Baylor had a shootout, 61 - 58, the bears coming out on top.

#12 Oregon bounced back after that terrible upset last week to un-ranked Arizona, with a win against UCLA 42 - 30

...and my UW Stevens Point Pointers thumped UW Eau Claire 30 - 3

...in that game with bats & balls, both the Royals and Giants won yesterday.

On other note what is that noise? It sounds like a beeping but I cannot identify it while the fire alarm is going off.

...indeed, as mentioned all my teams won. (including baseball)

Looks as if Rodgers picked one of Farve's better traits, how to win a game in under 2 minutes. I'll never for get the time Farve had only 47 seconds left after Green Bay received the kickoff and ended up scoring the winning TD with about 10 seconds to spare.

...interesting, third tie in as many years. GB and Minnesota played to a tie last year (which actually helped the Packers win the division) and in 2012 the 49rs played to an overtime tie with St Louis. Before that you have to go back to 2008 for the previous tie game.

...hmm if it's the fire/smoke alarm is beeping that could be serious.

...only three first downs vs 15 for Dallas. Romeo's apparently having the better day. going 13 of 20 for 140 yards and 2 TDs

Seattle's only scoring came on a field goal and a blocked punt that as run back for a TD.

I give up. What dress came with a frying pan?

It was a dress for Genesis and it was a fairy tale dress but I cannot find it right now.

    edit: found it http://www.daz3d.com/fairytale-dress-for-genesis

I don't see a frying pan in the promos or in the list of what's included.

    Dana

    This is what I see

Must be a surprise bonus. But it has nothing to do with the dress...very odd.

...check your spam box. Your filter may be seeing those as solicitations. I find reminders for PMs go into my general "Daz Orders" folder instead of the "Daz Foums" one. because the "sender" name (which is what I filter by) is the same as for order invoice emails.

Truthfully I walked away, went to sleep and when I woke up the recalcitrant PM had automagically appeared

if is just for a look you *could* adjust key frames and render at a lower frame rate, say 24 or even 18 a second, the compy will play it back appropriately and you save time x 60 or more over 10 seconds :)

...well, been putting a fair amount of thought into the work situation as well as talking it over with a couple friends and decided this is just not the right occupation for someone like myself. I thought not having the face-to-face contact would make it easier, but the sheer volume of calls and pace one needs to maintain (even at the start) are too much to handle day after day. There are also metrics one needs to hit and I actually felt as if I was falling further and further behind the required marks each day. While not mentioned as such, there is also a "sales component" involved which makes me somewhat uncomfortable and if you don't make a certain number of pitches (termed "offers") it negatively affects your performance record.

I'm basically a loner who is better suited to being given a project with a deadline and being left alone to work rather than troubleshooting equipment and billing issues on a seemingly never ending basis one call after another. At least I gave it a try to see what it was like. Definitely takes a certain type of personality to do this sort of work which I am not.

So it's back to the search sites again (kept a few of the better ones in my faves). At least I have a bit of a cushion to work with for a while.

...meh, stupid site bogging down again. Got several timeouts trying to resubmit this after fixing some typos.

...just looked at my spam folder to see if any important emails were routed there by mistake and saw one offering a 100$ gift card for Victoria's Secret.

...what's next, a coupon for a free 6 pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade, a free bag of David Sunflower Seeds or a free twelve pack of Olympia Beer? ;-)

Sounding like you have to perform a part you are not comfortable playing, is up to employers really to leave individuals comfortable with the roles they want performed :)

For a "final render" I prefer to hit 30 fps, 24 is cool but I can see a bit of difference in smoothness, at least playing back uncompressed.. maybe I'm just a perfectionist.. :red: :red:

...in the classroom/simulation phase they actually did, however once we started taking live calls it felt like "fend for oneself" even though there were coaches available. Most of the time when I was dealing with serious issues I had difficulty resolving, they were off helping other people and by the time they got to me I had to try and come up with resolutions on my own or the caller gave up and disconnected.

I really feel disappointed as this was the first positive contact I had in fifteen months. This is how bad the job scene is where I live for someone of my age with my physical condition and lack of that "piece of paper" from some college. It seems all a lot of places want is some hipster kid from California with a BA or Masters degree.. Nobody cares about lifetime experience anymore.
