Hmmm I ask for a trenta water but got a venti water. I did get a frap so I ain't cheap but I want water to off set my trap. Probably should have gotten ice coffee instead of a trap because the scale at the doctor's office was not my friend Tuesday. The number it said was too high for my taste.
Darn it I cannot post this.

Frap sounds good. mocha frap oh yeah !

    ME WANTS ONE! :ahhh:

I could make my workday morning coffee.. and then get on the bus with it! :bug:

Time to start saving up some cash... :red:

...look out, French Press can be very very strong. First time I used mine, I followed the "recommended dosage" and consequently was glued to the ceiling for the rest of the day.

dayjob put in those sensor faucets in the ladies room. there's no way to control the hot/cold/warms. :(

was eating a hershey miniature halloween candy, lost another piece of tooth. falling out in bits.

need to win lotto so i can get my teeth fixed.
2 numbers this morning, only good for a quickpick.

...ahh what I call the Star Trek Loo™. The Call Centre I worked at not only had those (and I hear your complaint as the water we got as almost ice cold) but sensor towel machines, and even sensor commodes/urinals (the latter to which were not always very efficient at doing their job.... )

..I know as summer has officially flown south for the next eight to nine months and the rainy season has set in.

Though a break today and will be back to the lo 70s this weekend.

Playing the job hunt game again. Though this time paying more attention to articles on search strategy from Monster and Linked In. Some really good stuff there on how to step around the bad hiring practises most companies have.

trying to schedule a doctor's appointment. Can't find the hours on their website for their medical campus. Ugg. I hate to call the number only to have the answering machine answer.

Could be worse, you could get a questioning machine.

...well just got news from a friend a few minutes ago about an account manager position (something I have more than a decade of experience in) with an eco-print shop here in town. Nice thing, not very far away so definitely in bike distance. Submitted resume so should hear back in a day or so.

Mum told me that she wondered about the diagnosis of shingles because she heard it is very painful and wondered how I handled it. I told her that I did not, I was taking pain killers as often as I could. It was my requesting pain killers as often as I could that alerted the staff and got the doctor's appointment which got the diagnosis. I am only taking the powerful pain killers at night as I can be sensitive to medicine and the last thing I want is to be out and about and loopy due to pain killers and cannot figure out which bus to take.

Did your Doctor give you anti-viral medicine, as that will do more good. Too many painkillers are not good for you.

The virus attacks along the line of the nerves, which is why it hurts so much.

He gave me something but I do not know what it is. I know it helps but I do not remember its name. I can ask what it is tonight and tell you then.

    Complaint:
After a long period of MS trying to get me to "upgrade" to 8.1, they decided to force-feed it to me today without warning. After an hour of "Just A Few More Changes", it finally finished. Of course it broke Norton, but after another hour and a half of bashing my head against the keyboard, I finally got everything working the way I want it to (maybe).
Thanks to MS, now my Wireless BB is over my limit. >:-(
    I yam disgustipated.

Right now I think everything is stupid and if it is not stupid, it will be called stupid until tomorrow.

Fixed the word Right and it was stupid and messed up somehow.

We didn't have any problems with Norton when our laptop upgraded to 8.1. I wonder what happened. Windows 10 is the next thing. You needed to get 8.1, because they aren't going to send security patches or other updates to 8.0.

We got this really cool Start Menu that works great, for cheap through bitsdujour back in the Spring. But they still sell it at the makers site for a decent value. It's called StartMenuX. It's actually on sale right now for $9.99 if you're interested...StartMenuX

Dana, I guess where we differ here is that I don't like anything that makes changes to my computer without my express permission. If it needs it, I'll OK it, but I want to be asked first, Having a limited Bandwidth, If I had known beforehand, I would have taken my computer to a local hotspot and told MS to go ahead. Then I wouldn't have the overage charges on my next bill.

I can understand that. I have never had to deal with overage on my Xfinity broadband account. I do think they announced that at one point you would no longer have a choice about the update. But maybe everyone didn't get that. I considered that anything they pass down has to e an improvement. I don't watch the laptop very much, though. Diane uses that as her personal computer except when we're away with it. So I've let it just update as needed.
