i'm having last minute jitters about putting tentacles graphic on my book cover. maybe i should put a nice flock of aiko3 faeries
Brr.. stay warm, drink coffee! :)
Is this a book cover that's going to be the first thing you see when browsing? ... if so, what sort of audience do you want to attract? ... and, for those who are tentacularly inclined, are they going to be disappointed, or happy? for those who are fae-inclined, will _they_ be happier? book covers are very important things (a bit like "first impression" in an interview, as KK could no doubt attest) - imho they should help give a first impression of what's inside the book (so that prospective readers know whether to go beyond the cover to read the blurb, or the preview, or just to pass over it). My $0.02c as a book buyer, of course <(^_^).</p>
W00t! Wandered over to RDNA and found a kick butt graduation outfit for V4 that should easily autofit to G2F! I was wondering whereinheck I was going to find a cap-n-gown.. after all, both Aiko and Vicky graduated from UAT. ;-)
Will they ever graduate from UAT or will they be forever students?

to join the other legeds like inflatible cubes and ponies, soon, emperor's new clothes, and naked in temples
Umm, that would be unflatable.

They try to convert me now and then...it's a joke. My neighbors had DirectTV when I moved here. They dumped it and got Comcast after I moved in and they saw the difference. They were always having trouble with it.
Dana
Yes, me too!
Dana
Clam chowder is good food! :cheese: I have a can here, might munch it for late lunch.
Going to see how many different beers I can try.. I'm taking the free shuttle to the festival, cabbing it home (lol)! :cheese:
*edit* OMG there are over 50 kinds of beer at the festival! :ahhh:
I hope you don't pay too much for the cab after all that beer!

those are the hard questions keeping me awake on the bus :shut:
maybe a mocha frap will open my consiousness to the verse and vision for a cover art will come :)
right now it's gianni, fresh tentacles and the classic hip pose
Morning. Early sun fingering a big white crested cockatoo trying and failing to blend in with mob of blackbirds on our back fence :)

Are there tentacles in the story? And are they a major part of the story? Or a defining moment in a character's life? If you answered no to all these questions...no tentacles on the cover!
Dana
For a moment I thought you were saying the Sun was giving you the finger!

doctor's office is busy for the next few weeks. I'm going for my checkup in the beginning of December. Finally found the name for the other mountain range in Daz land: Oquirrh Mountains. ok, time to eat dinner.

Nah. it does that to me. Which is why I moved to Seattle.
Hmm... apparently RDNA has a new little app with their new site: I had looked at some things I was pondering picking up (especially with the Halloween sale) and had left them in my cart a while back. Just got an email 'reminding' me I had left items in my cart... so I didn't 'miss out' on the sale items - and with a nice, special coupon code to sweeten the deal!
What can I say, it worked! I went and they got my money and I feel good about it! (amazing how that works sometimes)
I am sure it won't do that all the time, but that is a GREAT marketing tool for them. Probably nudges a lot of 'fence-sitters' over to the 'buying' side.
... also nice to see I was not the ONLY one to pass my Marketing classes!! With some of the commercials you see/hear and some of the popular business practices, I really wonder sometimes.
