Yes, that looks pretty good now! Little things usually end up a whole lot of work...for me, anyway.

Ah, fresh morning, fresh week, time to PREPARE TO WRITE!

Ate too much pizza, drank too much beer, warned everyone not to expect me anywhere near as often.. so if I don't the the bar for a week or so I won't get "are you OK" emails (hrrmph).Opening chapter set in my mind, basic flow of the chapter is locked down (for now, sometimes the characters change my mind).

Once it's done it's going on to the Vicky's Diner blog, and I'll announce it here.

Need to use beer money for a faster laptop.. :blank:

Only complaint today: Dry when I woke up, rained on me coming in, and... clearing up now. :long:

Minor whinge: Office coffee is horrible compared to that Venton's. Meh, it's free.

Non-complaint: The fancy barr with the local brew is right on the bus line! And the brewery is too, and there's a tour on Saturday! Guess where I'mm be Saturday.. hee hee heeeeeeeeeeeee! :snake:

Observations on life as I study Ohm's Law and generally try to become an EE in a few days:

    - Software engineering doesn't prepare you for hardware engineering
    - Once you've had really good coffee, even halfway decent coffee tastes awful
    - Potato chips make a nasty breakfast
    - I've forgotten all the math I knew in high school, so these weird Greek letters are meaningless to me
    - Itchy noses are annoying as heck
    - Stuff in my wishlist will never go on sale as long as I have content money
    - It's a mystery as to why brewery tours start at 10AM

Oh, but that's awesome! You can always keep your other version, tweak it a little more maybe, and have a fine addition to your gallery.

Sigh, selected to go to a JP court on Thursday. There I assume we will be questioned and stuff. At least this courthouse is inside the city. One panel has to drive forty minutes to another city for their court

Sounds far less than exciting. :blank:

Last time I got called to come be a juror, I got to tell them I didn't drive due to medical conditions, the bus didn't get anywhere near the courthouse, and tha I'd need my jurors pay to cover a taxi ride and special meals since I'm diabetic.

Never got called for jury duty again...

Yeah, but what the hell is that dangling from the front? I've never seen that on real football uniforms! I'm not a fan of football (round or pointy ball), but I have seen them. Why do the vendors think they have to make everything into some sort of fantasy outfit? I suppose you can probably make that invisible, though. It's better than the ones they had for V4.

That would be the towel used to keep your hands dry for ball-handling. Most wear it on a hip in real life, but some do tuck it in the front.

Oh, good luck! With your past experience at Wendy's you should be able to get it. You didn't leave under bad circumstances, did you?

Hmm...I've seen plenty of scenes during the news...although I usually fast forward through that, because I'm not a fan...but I don't remember seeing one of those. Since I watch Fox25 Boston, I see plenty of football clips because they're all over the Patriots. OK, then.

Complaint: Today I wanted to mow the lawn...there's not a lot of grass growth, but there are a lot of leaves and that's how I get them up, it's much simpler than raking and bagging. I got dressed for the work, put on sunblock on my face, put gasoline in the mower...it wouldn't start! >:-(

I plugged in the charger (it has electronic start with a key) Next dry day will be Saturday. And I don't go to the landfill on Saturday...long story.

Shadows lengthen and Night falls while a funeral is going on, is going to be quite a thing to pull off TG for time passing/dissolve tropes
