Good Morning! Up and at 'em!

The only thing "up & at em" in my place is the bug I am dealing with.

Need to go out get some chicken soup. Will be a long cold breezy walk to the supermart as the organic natural food mart down the street carries just about every soup variety imaginable, except good ol' fashioned plain chicken noodle.

Need to go today as tomorrow the air is supposed to "liquify" all day and stay that way through Friday.

You'd still be broke because you'd spend it on 3D goodies, or food goodies, or drink goodies, or a buppie. :smirk:

...and yeah, I should talk considering I play the Megabucks here. With the "official" unemployment rate climbing again (now 7.2 % here up from 6.8%) I feel at my age, I have just as good a chance winning the lotto as I do getting hired in a living wage job. Shoot, it's always older people who usually win anyway so I feel I'm due.

The phone interview was to set up the real second interview at Harris teeter Friday.

At Barnes and Nobel and just ordered the best free drink ever as it is considered by some the best drink ever and it happens to be free.

...thank you. Looks like we're really in for it, the severe weather statement below was just issued. :ohh:

Was going to take a nap but as it is about to move onshore this afternoon, better get to the market to stock up before it hits.

Oddly, we have bright sun right now...looking a little warm as it gets low on the horizon. But if you're getting it, we will soon enough.

Looks like Maine will receive similar weather. Nor'easter is headed towards Portland.

I have found out that I am registered to vote and where to go. I know the date but not the hours that the polls are open.

Trying not to talk political so will not say anything about who I will vote for.

Just got back from my "supply run". Have enough food & goodies for the next three days so no need to go outside at all.

The sun is shining brightly, but since it is below the horizon, I can't see it. The sunlight bounce off the moon is visible though.

I should do a Google search of Melbourne, Florida. I have never heard of that city before.

edit: I should do a search of Avalon airport too.

...exactly. With many trees here still having full complements of leaves, there is concern about fallen limbs causing power outages.

Also picked up some extra Theraflu™ (was on sale) and a couple packs of "Fisherman's Friend" (sort of the "Altoids" of cough drops).

...Actually had a nice walk home from the market as the sun poked out for a while and the winds died down (calm before the storm). Bands of rain beginning to come onshore out at the coast already.

Dinner tonight, Old fashioned Chicken Soup and a grilled cheezy.

Tomorrow (winds and electricity permitting) big pot o' Thai curry beef. It's that season again.

...and nearly 90° there. Definitely doesn't sound like an enjoyable experience.

Here It's been steady rain, though winds haven't picked up quite yet.

Well, off to bed, can feel the Theraflu™ beginning to kick in. Nothing to do but stay inside and work on scenes tomorrow. while job hunting on the net. Hopefully will feel better when I wake up, if not, it will be hot spicy Thai curry to the rescue.

    ...nite all...

Will the East Coast storm and the West Coast storm move inland and meet in the middle? That would smush me, Trout, and Fyre.

At this time of year hot air blows in from the desert and collides with cold air blowing in from the southern ocean somewhere just about over our place so is nothing unusual to see ice falling out of a clear blue sky on a 90 degree day
