I hope it doesn't come to that too.
We get smooshed between Pacific storms and Gulf of Mexico ones often enough up here as it is. LOL

Here It's been steady rain, though winds haven't picked up quite yet.

Well, off to bed, can feel the Theraflu™ beginning to kick in. Nothing to do but stay inside and work on scenes tomorrow. while job hunting on the net. Hopefully will feel better when I wake up, if not, it will be hot spicy Thai curry to the rescue.

    ...nite all...

At this time of year hot air blows in from the desert and collides with cold air blowing in from the southern ocean somewhere just about over our place so is nothing unusual to see ice falling out of a clear blue sky on a 90 degree day

Ok, head screwed on a little straighter today. :red: :red:

Spent some time doing some thinking, rearranged a few bits of my life, decided to stop going out for a while.

Sat down last night, brewed a cuppa, and WROTE! :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

Only 4 pages, but it's a start. Amazing how if you do things, things get done. :smirk:

    And, of course, COMPLAINTS!

    - Overslept today
    - Croissant was TOO buttery
    - Red Powerade Zero tastes like plastic strawberries
    - Not enough coffee to wake me up today

    Non-complaints:

    - WROTE LAST NIGHT
    - Freed up more time to write
    - Beautiful weather today :)
    - Found a new way (www.thesnippetapp.com) to get my writing to the public ;-)
    - Planning a brewery tour of one of the two breweries here in Tulsa for weekend after next

So, I'm hoping to clear a big chunk of my to-do list tonight before setting up a render I want to experiment with. Should be fun! :)

Supposed to rain tomorrow and Friday, blug blug.

Being smushed by two storms colliding doesn't sound like run to me, unless I'm indoors with a cuppa watching it through the window. :blank:

Lovely today, will have to go out for lunch. I wonder if I can get mac and cheese from one of the local places?

    Today's amusing experience:

    Me:
    Co-worker: Hey, what's going on?
    Me: Oh, hey, buying pantyhose.
Co-worker: Panty hose? They come in your size?
Me: No, for a 3D model I use to make pictures.
    Co-worker: You make porn, then?
Me: Only if you pay me enough!
    Co-worker: You have strange hobbies.
Me: It's cheaper than a girlfriend.
    Co-worker: Uh, ok...

     :smirk:

Just checked on some of my dragon hatchings and they died because they ran out of time. Why is time going so fast? It feels like they just hatched a day before yesterday. But it must have been last week if they died today.

That's not usually how they move. This will eventually move off to the north and east, out to sea. Eventually. Out to sea. Some day.

I try to be healthy weekdays as I'm usually horribly unhealthy on weekends (heh) :snake:

Trying to get into one of the Marshall Brewing tours this weekend.. hope I can get a slot. They're a 2 block walk from a bus stop, and only 2 buses to take.. could make for a pleasant weekend! :)

Summer will arrive soon for you! It's already gotten down into the 30s F here a few times last week. It's only in the 50s during the day now. In fact, Monday night we had a low of 28 F. :grrr: There should be a smiley with icicles!

It's in the 50's during the day here and dropping to the low 30's at night. I had to get up and close the window last night and I like a cold bedroom.

...rain's been off and on while we never got the high winds predicted. A brief lull tomorrow, then another strong storm front on Friday into the weekend.

Lots of wet through next week as well. Looks like the most practical costume for Halloween would be a mermaid/merman, scuba diver or a fishing boat captain from the North Sea.
