Well, this is always a calculated risk buying game, but I THINK it paid off. I saw a texture set to a clothing set I didn't own, but I made a bet a couple days ago with myself that the outfit would be put in the discount section (3.99) a few days later, and yep. So I bought the textures days ago, and now the outfit, and went ahead and got the figure too. So that all cost 12.00. The bundle is not on sale (at least I don't think it is anywhere, you know how some aren't marked but are in a promo section and the discount shows in the cart? Anyway, the graph from the plugin shows it hasn't been cheaper than what I paid for all the items in the bundle)
I really like Kiernan's side profile- that nose! Anyway, here's the bundle and look at Kiernan's thumbnails for the side profile. First row, fourth thumbnail. ALL three bundle items would be 12.00 (if you bought the texture set a few days ago) vs 42.95 (lowest 19.33 so 7.33 cheaper than ever offered) Just checked: The textures are no longer in that discount section.
Again, if you don't like the skin, you can use her morphs. I think she's got an interesting front AND side profile.
So question- this works for me- If you see a texture set of an item and you don't have the item, if it's a good deal do you get the textures anyway?

Novica, yes if I find textures on sale that I like I will purchase then put the outfit in my wishlist to keep an eye on until it goes on sale. Usually I will try not to install them until I get the outfit, doesn't always work if I get click happy lol.
For all you video gamers- my son is finally revealing the preview of his years-in-the-making video game, He's worked with voice talent from all over the world, the graphic artists and animators were top notch, and the music is all original scores, composed for the game. My son did the concept art and I was blown away and of course, it simply HAS to be he inherited my artistic genes. :)
So if you get a chance, tune in, it's only going to be about 45 seconds so won't take a lot of time :) Appreciate the support!

I am finally working on coding again too. 1st time since 2015 since I even touched 1 line of code. I want to be at the level I was in 1998 when I last worked full time writing code. Being rusty at coding doesn't describe it for me now though,
but then writing code has always been like trying to get rid of rust for me. At least they made it much easier to code and debug code now than in 1998 so maybe I'll be productive faster quicker than I think once I sit down at it with the frequency needed to get into it. I did knock out most of what I wanted to do though surprisingly fast once I sat down and actually tried. In only a day. I have a few bugs to get rid of though & I want to "beautify" the game itself. It's using some DAZ 3D & PA models I've bought & licensed. It's a very simple game but the basis for the other game components I will be integrating on later. As my boss at Texas Instrument told me, Keep It Simple & Stupid so that's what I'll do, piecemeal style. I'm going to be getting more and more into coding now but now, as then, I've learned not to set a time table on it.

What do I want more of- animals- such as Persian cats, more dog breeds- all with realistic hair already DONE for us.
What is lacking- (several questions asked about features don't have, what could be improved) so my main two were the horrible store search engines and categories, then when hitting a back button, going all the way back to page one, not back ONE page. Hope a lot of people mention the search CATEGORIES. People should have their own category, I don't need to see all the clothes if I am looking for a person.
It was a bit confusing on the "marketing and email" question- the emails are fine, the marketing isn't, so I explained I wasn't buying 2-3 things to get a discount, and 4 or more was a joke.
So if you take the survey, you might keep some of this in mind if it aligns with your thinking. Feel free to discuss what you gave as input as it may help someone else too. Oh, another thing- quality control was the one thing I said Daz doesn't have, lol- it asked if there was something they could add! (Bet they loved THAT answer, they think it already exists!)
Since I was required to give an answer for what types of messages I'd like to receive via SMS, I checked other and wrote "Nothing ever".

Short message system. It means text message.
I haven't taken the survey yet, too early, half cup of coffee. Saving it for later when my brain clicks on. Glad I checked here first. I think I will make a list of constructive things that can be improved for the store or in the program before I start.
If you have a Mac and haven't installed the new Monterey update watch out. When it finally finished yesterday afternoon, after hickups, and I had 'NOT' unseated my external hard drive first, I was working on some more downloads through DIM, but everything was sluggish and I finally decided to shut the computer down fully then start it again. Not a restart. When I did, my external wasn't seen.
I freaked. But, Google and some research I found there was Disk Utility and First Aid. This morning, my Hard Disk was not only back and seen, but all files visible. But I will now remember in the future to unmount my external drives before 'any' update to the OS. I had been doing that on my iMac, but got lazy. But Monterey seems to be very sloppy on my MacBook Pro. My iMac is on Catalina, so I only get security and basic updates now.

Oh and something else I didn't mention, so if this matters to you, you may want to- changing terms of Daz+ such as changing the discount amounts. We were told 30% then it's dropped to 20%, etc. Raising prices when we were guaranteed X as the standard price (remember the 99 cent hike to 1.99? Then 2.99, now 3.99 etc?) If they are going to raise prices, they should give us at LEAST a month notice so we can stock up. Good for us, good for them. Every Daz+ person should KNOW when there are going to be price hikes, otherwise it's a sneaky way to do business in my opinion.
