I'd say no, because Gianni is a relatively realistic-looking character. Freak is like The Girl - all about extremisms Hence, the product's title. :).

Although, in all honesty, I'd have thought that SWOLE (and Raw Art's new product) have made any potential Freak 6 completely obsolete. There'd be more of a point in releasing a She-Freak 6. However, I'm not at all sure I could think of many uses for an excessively muscular female character, which makes me doubt she'd sell particularly well. The Gia 6 character already has 'athletic' covered, more or less.

There is a female version of my "Massive" set coming soon too ;)

Wow, Rawn, it looks like She-Freak is taken! I never use such stuff, but the details are awesome.

Thanx...Gotta tell ya, a muscular female is harder to make than a muscular male.
With muscles they start to look very masculine very quickly. I had to really work with her proportions to keep a female look.

I imagine that. Do you compare real life bodybuilders for reference purposes?

Well this is interesting.. While looking for a readme for a recent product I found a readme placeholder for some "poses for Belle 6 and Brodie 6".
We already knew about Belle thanks to morphs included in a recent product, but now it seems like the next male also has a name.

For the more "human" version I did. But for the extreme version I had to draw on comic book inspiration and my own vision to get everything to work together nicely. So the extreme version of this morph is much more stylized.

That sounds like a very well-thought approach. People may need Wonder Woman and so on.

I met with Brodie being a female name... and yes, I saw the same readme too. I wonder if our posts are going to disappear now .

Well the only Brodie I know is the teen son of one of my American friends, so I assumed that was a male name, but you never now...

I don't trust Wikipedia much, but there is an article on Brodie and it's stated:

"The given name can be a male or female name, originating from the surname". I remember reading a book where one of the supporting characters was a man named Brody. And another one had Brodie as a policewoman or something.

It's Scottish, by the way. I could use a freckled hunk, sure. Even a freckled birdie, if that matters.

...I feel the same way about Zev0's Growing Up Morphs for G2F/M and the need for a Teen6/Kid6 (though Daz did release the teen Josie and Jayden characters, however Josie is a bit more "endowed" and less petite than her Gen5 counterpart, Julie).

...super! She looks great, can't wait.

The product promo will need a "green skin" pic as well.

Well, I admit I would still like to get some major shapes for kids like Young Teens. Josie and Jayden are leaving high school, whereas Julie and Justin seem to start junior high school. They don't overlap.

I've been trying to understand the different "DAZ Original Characters" lately (see: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/48381/ for details).

Isn't Gianni basically Freak with a less pejorative name? I mean, he's the big muscley guy, no?

No! the FREAK is different, sorry ...really different :) the DAZ freak is a special figure really perfect for all great monsters or supehuman creature :)

Hmm, we are getting closer to the release date of next male figure. Somehow I have a feeling that we will have Hiro 6 this month, I'd really like this to happen.

I'd love to see this happening, but it is too vague. Why are you saying we're getting closer to a male release?

You should recall a particular FBM I found in a certain shoe product...

Exactly... I wouldn't hold my breath so soon.

Just a question, who's Ms Thang?

  • jestmartjestmart Posts: 4,449
    edited December 1969

It is slang for a female that has high regards for herself. Plus 'thang' is close to 'thing', which is the name of a monstrous Marvel superhero. It is probably a too subtle hint that we need some cool textures for the muscle heads.

Miss Thang is also used in the gay world. Allot of gay men, including me at times, call their male friends Miss Thang. Like "Miss Thang thinks he's "all that"! "

I should also mention that even my grandmother (and a million other black women) used "Miss Thang" and "shade" when I was growing up!

Well, Lee 6 release was in July. Four months passed since last male figure, and there were two female ones after him already. So, I think it would be just the right time for Hiro 6 to arrive, but of course it's up to DAZ

We'll see if I'm right in next ten days I guess.

I know, I know. But it's not the only hint there, he-he, so I still have my reasons to believe in Hiro.

Do you REALLY believe in Hiro? Can you truly have faith in him? Especially after what that cheating bastard did to Aiko last generation? Clearly he doesn't believe in traditional relationship. So, what makes you think he'll believe in you?

Be careful who you trust in the 3D world... ;)

Guys, please, don't keep me waiting. Either write it openly where you found any clues or, if you're worried they may vanish, send me a PM. Or even better a note through DA.

Once upon a time we were allowed to post links to readme's placeholders in the wiki, was even an awesome thread in members where we'd have so much fun posting titles of placeholders and speculating what it was. I believe thats what they are talking about, the product readme's in the documentation center.
