Starship Troopers was pretty good. I don't usually like action movies, but I liked that one.

would be easier to just click the d/l button, but i have to rename everything to the peroduct name.  sort by IM numbers not helpful.  meh

trying to be real about i will actually render.  my lib is full of stuff i'll never render.  theres a ton of jpg textures i can replace with carrara procedural shaders.  metals, wood, glass

do eyes really need bump maps?  seems silly

doogie howser is in starship troopers.  and the vulcan lady from the quantum leap star trek

Non-complaint:  Wheee...  stimulus check/deposit came through.  Time to complete my stimulating & reduce a few wishlists.  Wheee... shopping.smiley  During this time of isolation, catalog shopping is king of entertainment.  And the delivery guy is one of the few humans I see during the month.

But I'm not totally unwise.  I decided against a few big ticket items that I really don't need, and I put more than 2/3rd's of the stimulus into savings.  (for future disasters or shopping)devil

i'm awake but too tired to cook or go for a walk.  today is turning into a why bother.
sleeping all day should be a perk of the golden years.  not really sure what the golden years are?  when is it over?

managed to resist buying the 8 core.  even tho a new fast compy is a compelling reason to live.

The golden ears are what you find on either side of the head of that golden calf you've been worshiping.indecision  Oh, wait... you said "years", with a "y".  Never mind.surprise

OK, then, the golden years are when you have to spend all that gold that you thought you had.

I think golden years is what senior citizens call their 20's to 40's but I could be wrong about any of that.

...golden ears tend to grow in Iowa farm fields.

Complaint:, Ugh the pinched nerve in my back decided to act up over the last day or so.  Sciatica in the legs so walking speed is seriously slowed and I have to move carefully or it feels like someone is jabbing a needle in my back.  Fortunately the larder is full so I don't have to go out for the week. Makes it hard to get a good night's sleep even given the slight fatigue effect from the second vaccination.

    Pre-existing condition so not covered.

You're welcome.  Thank you for saving some of it for disasters.

Flip a coin, then don't tell yourself which one it was.   That way, I'll be a surprise.  You'll be plugging along, and suddenly, you'll get a PBJ.  Surprise!

I mean, who doesn't like a surprise sandwich now and then, huh?

You are a wee bit out on that
The “golden years” of adulthood. It is generally defined as the span of time between retirement and the beginning of age-imposed physical, emotional, and cognitive limitations, and today would roughly fall between the ages of 65 and 80+.

I got two planners but one is to help with the novel or novella I'm trying to write for camp nanowrimo. The other one is for trying to remember my own appointments and also maybe to record exercise I do such as what days I take a real walk and where? (Real walks are ones I take on purpose for exercise. That doesn't include walking to kitchen for food.)

..I still remember them when i first started working even in the private sector (primarily union shops).  Now unless you're in government, the Post Office, the railroads, or the military they are pretty much a memory. A few private companies (like Boeing), still have them bit it's far and few between these days.

Another weird dream. Kind of want to make a comic out of this one. Should have bought some stuff on sale. Would have been useful now. I wish I could tell the future. Will I ever finish my fully written vidual novel that only needs a few graphics and to be scripted? Idk. I'm starting to worry about that one.

The Golden Years was an 80s show about a dumb kid (Fred Savage) growing up in the 60s with four sassy retired ladies, (Betty White, Rue McClanaham, Beatrix Potter and Jane Fondue)... I think they lived next to a pond with some old guy who's finger was gold or he had a golden gun... or something like that and they went flying around in an old seaplane named Cutter's Goose, looking for some mythical monkey statue and ...

I might be wrong or combining shows... but I'm probably right... yeah... I'm usually right about stuff like this... Totally.

Well of course it was good!  It was a PBJ!

But the real question is:  Was it a surprise PBJ?  wink
