GO NINERS!!!!!
Some good ball today - Cowgirls beat the hapless Jags.. SF snuck one over the Aints.. :snake:
Taking a break from ball.. I tried to resurface the background to Pretty Fly Girl , did something wrong and rendered THIS:
...bugger, stupid power converter brick flaked out on me. Had to restart everything.
Yeah pretty good day so far football wise. Could have used the Fins holding off the Lions though (would have helped Green Bay).
Peyton's Broncos up ten on The (winless) Raiders, while little brother Eli's New York Football Giants are ahead of he Seasquawks 14 - 7.
Now in that game from the other side of the pond, not so good as Arsenal lost again. Looks like Chelsea's going to come out on top again this season as they defeated Liverpool yesterday.
On the workstation for now until my other system is fully up again..
...staying online through the workstation for now as:
--1. I am surprised to still see myself logged in from yesterday,
--2. After restarting my other system, I discovered I was logged out of again and am tired of going through all the login stupidity right now.
The really odd thing, the workstation is running an older version of FF than the notebook is and it works fine.
I keep saying this but nobody listens.. new is not better. New is you as a BETA tester without pay.
Going on a Dr. Who binge.. the only reason I got Hulu Plus.. to catch up.
Yes, I have watched Dr. Who from Pertwee to Tennant.. and my fave Doctor is Tom Baker. Forever.
DOCTORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
...The Doctor is cool.
Squawks and NY Football Giants tied 17 - 17. Big brother Peyton and crew are burying The Raiders, 41 - 10
Had to switch to FoxSports as ESPN's site isn't updating game stats properly.
In the OT of the Niners - Saints game, it kept showing the Saints moving the ball, even though they had punted to SF, and the box score play by play page wouldn't update until possession changed. It worked fine yesterday during all the college games. This has been occurring on ESPN during NFL Sunday for the past several weeks now. Methinks they need their web development/IT team to put down their beers and get off the couch and fix it..
As I don't have telly and not about to blow 30 - 40$ at a spots pub to get my NFL fix, the online sites are the only way I can keep track of the action.
Morning. Concrete cutters ear splitting drills and non stop sirens make for a noisy Monday so far here :)
Media server for Windows, like XMBC but windows only :)

Wont use a Beta version of anything unless absolutely necessary :)
...unfortunately with the Daz site, we have no choice except to go to another store.
Think you have to assume that every website is a work in progress

..ahh the bye week was good fo Green Bay. 4:48 to go in the first half and already up 35 - 0 on Da Bears. The last scoring drive started from the Packers' 5 (where they put up a great goal line stand to deny Chicago a score) and was finished off by a 56 yard TD pass to Eddy Lacy. Aaron Rodgers has 5 TDs so far, on 15 of 18 passing for 285 yards.
...and as I mentioned the half isn't over yet.
Can Aaron make it 6 TDs in the fist half?
The rout is on.
-----
ETA: He did it 6 TD passes and 315 yards in one half . Green by is puttin' a whoopin on Da Bears: 42 - 0
...and it's only halftime.
The LIE Baker is a good/needed idea, wish Studio or Poser had an easy to use texture baker built in :)

All quieten our hood since the football finished, cricket crowds are huge (what's that all about?) but not as noisy as the footy ones. They play night soccer here but don't let them use the big stadiums
Looking pretty fly. :)
+1

Been playing Mario Kart 8. Actually pretty fun, nice graphics too. Think I'll get the Wind Waker port next :)
I actually kinda like the Wii U. Sure it's got a silly sounding name, but it's actually a fairly nice console. I didn't much like the original Wii and stubbornly insisted on using the Gamecube controllers over the Wii Remote, but I actually am pretty fond of the Game Pad the Wii U comes with. Pretty fun to use actually and it's really nice to just be reclining on the couch with the game in my hand like that, especially with how my living room is set up. Not always comfortable to be sitting close to the TV (I actually have to be far from it and strain my eyes, or be up close and not only risk knocking things off the shelf, but also be in the way so people can't easily get by >< )
I've gotten a bit more used to the Wii Remote now - it's not terrible, but I still prefer an actual controller for playing Super Smash Brothers hehe
s'posed to hit 60F later today, but right naos iz coold.
lots left over soup.
lots of laundry, doan feel like going.
hark, hears a scratch at my window . BUPPIESSSS
i haz to go smooch me some buppy
Happy Monday. :blank: :blank:
Good football weekend, SF-Saints game was a real nail biter right up until the end. The weird Ravens cheerleader accident was.. weird. My Ravens won, which made me happy.
Still picking salmon skin out of my teef.. but was good. Leftover miso soup for dinner! :cheese:
Back to figuring out why my proto board won't run... :long:
New RC of DS 4.7 ready - looks like some serious improvements! :bug: :gulp:
Will have to install and check it out tonight! :cheese:
Left my cell phone on the charger this morning-felt lost without the ability to peek in the thread. Fiancé and I ran home for lunch so I could get it.
why did I order my computer Friday night/ The store is still processing the order; it hasn't been shipped yet. Grr... this is last time I order expensive electronics on Friday evening. lol
...waiting until the stable release but watching the Beta thread. Had my fill of plying beta tester back in the 3.0 days and with the current site update.

I'm not doing anything critical for this month, so I figure I'd live on the bleeding edge! :vampire:
I bet IPR will be tediously slow on my machine....
..back on the workstation. some stupid process keeps interfering with me on the notebook hammering the HD constantly. Looked at Windows Task Manager and I'll be dipped if I can understand what half that stuff means in the processes tab.
When I did a restart the system hung up and wouldn't shut down. Had to hold the start button down to get it to turn off after which I waited a few minutes and started it up again.
After it came back up and I opened FF up I got a screen that says Thank you for Choosing Firefox" and a pop up that says "see what's new". which means FF updated to the latest version by itself without giving me the chance to say whether I wanted it to or not. I have "auto update" set to notify me any time there is an update first rather than just launch the update. This was slipped right by me. >:(
So basically I pretty much have to spend time updating/reactivating all my add ons, plugins, and toolbars again (provided they are not labelled as "obsolete") which is why I don't like updating to the latest FF in the first place and usually stay a version or two behind. >:-(
Also had to not only log on to my email again (never had to do that for a long time) but had to go through the whole sign in mess on the forums again (and now the password, which I do not remember, didn't populate). Had to close and reopen the tab to get it to show after which I was of course sent to my account page. Once again when I go back to the email and click on the link to the thread, I find I am logged out, so I have to manually navigate to the post from the account page which is a total PITA! On top of this, last night I added the PC Crazy Deal #10 to my cart, but after finally getting the login to work, when I go to my cart it says "shopping cart is empty". >:-( >:-(
This update has been nothing short of a train wreck involving tanker cars carrying the most hazardous materials imaginable.
...guess that's my Monday complaint. >:-( >:-( >:-( >:-(
