Complaint: at home with some kind of stomach flu thing.

Non-complaint: can download the new DS and play with it when I'm not in bed sick! :cheese:

Gotta make lemonade out of the lemons Life hands you... :shut:

Woohoo, thanks to KKs suggestion I have COFFEE! :cheese: If I hadn't bought all this stuff from Seattle Coffee Gear, I'd be coffee-less.. it's 34F outside and the closest place for coffee is McDonalds, 1/2 a mile away. :blank: The way my guts are churning, I'd never make it...

But here I sit, sipping Twilight Blend.. makes me feel a bit less miserable.. :)

...MickyD's makes my gut protest just thinking about the place.

Glad to be of help on the coffee front. Used to be a big coffee drinker (the name of my classical radio show was the "Coffee Cantata Club") so I know what it is like to be without. Several months ago the gut finally said "no more" and I switched to a strong British blend tea for my caffeine fix. I still can have the occasional Latte or Americano Espresso (less acid which makes it easier on me) but no more day long coffee binges.

Bight and sunny but c-c-c-cold here today, only 42° and windy to boot. High tomorrow is supposed to be only 38°and it will be windy again. Going to get down in the 20s the next couple nights and there is a threat of sleet or freezing rain by Thor's Day . Have big supply of British tea, have food for the rest of the week into the weekend, no need to go outside.

Just got an rider alert from the transit system about one of the tram lines being knocked out of service as a tree was blown down across the tracks damaging the overhead lines.

The thing I LOVE about the pour-over is how I can regulate strength! I know when my innards are unhappy, just one spoon.. one and a half if I'm in good shape. And ALWAYS flavorful! :cheese: Oddly, too, there's something relaxing about grinding the coffee.. very Zen. :red:

Stay warm and happy! :cheese: :cheese:

Hey great, red white and blued feel is very timeley :)

Thanks! :cheese: Posing was a pain, I'm just glad I didn't have to model all that, just load, resurface a few places, and render! :)

I am absolutely NOT a modeler, but I think I can pose and kinda sorta animate.. :red:

Ok, I did a nude render of Kitten #2 and posted it to my DeviantArt site.. It reminds me so much fo classic Vargas, nude but not graphic.. which is what I like to shoot for in pinup renders. You can be super sexy without being clinical... :red: :red:

Off to ponder ponderous imponderables before diving back into Dr. Who... :cheese:

Geez, I figured a link to a product was a link to a product. That's weird.

You linked to your own product library.

...hmm link takes me to my product library.

Yes, because Dana linked to the product in his Product library, but as you can't see anyone else's Product library it sends you to your own instead.

I have to blame my Dad.. he introduced me to Vargas' work.. so my idea of an erotic pinup isn't gynecological, it celebrates the amazing form of a woman.. maybe makes me a touch sexist, but I blame genetics.. :red: :red:

I could also blame Xaa, bit he's not around to defend himself

...could you PM me the link to your DA site? Ever since they changed the look of their site, they no longer have filters so one can set it to view the most recent submissions (at least not that I can find).

Daz Studio crashed when I was rendering a scene in Windows 8. Unfortunately, I did not see an error message. Yes, I even checked the log files. Maybe I should check the event viewer in the control panel.

Did some work today because it is Wednesday and starts with a W the same as Work so thought it would be auspicious for an easy afternoon, and it was !

I don't know about a vortex, but the jet stream has dipped really low into the Midwest and is drifting towards the East Coast now. We won't get as cold as they did, but it will get cold and there might be some snow in New England. I'm not looking forward to the winter weather. I never do. But it's good exercise shoveling, anyway. :smirk:

...we here in the Northwest are getting the backside of it. At Mt Hood Meadows it's now +6° F. As I mentioned earlier, the metro Portland forecast calls for a chance of freezing rain or sleet late Wednesday into Thursday.

Parts of eastern Minnesota and Western Wisconsin were buried under about a foot of snow.

...first snow of the season, getting a foot is being buried.

...and we're still 40 days before the "official" start of winter.
