    Joined the DazSeasonPass mostly out of hopeful curiosity and possibly because I'm afraid I may miss something good...?   laugh  Hopefully it will pay off in the end, so that I'll be glad I took that 'Blind' chance.  

    However as far as sales of the pass go, the recent Sunrise Hangout I recieved (is nice but) doesn't seem to be the perfect incentive to entice others to join in.  I hope it gets better than this and worth every penny I spent.

    OK. So, it seems that getting the new character "a day" early is actually getting the character twelve hours early (assuming that Brooke 8.1 is in the store at Daz midnight). As a Jew, twelve hours is a day, but most people refer to a day as being 24 hours.

    Did you actually get anything? I only got the banner linking to a non-existing page. Nothing new in my product library.

    Same.  She has the same semi-toony vibe as Cleopatra.  DO Base characters are going to become irrelevant for a lot of people if this keeps up.

    I’m wondering if someone in marketing is new and doesn’t know/realize what kind of sales/bargains DAZ has thrown out in the past – what those of us that have shopped here over the years have come to expect. They’re trying to convince a rather jaded audience that ‘this’ is a sale/bargain when last February(2020)  $53 and tax (Leroy 8 Pro and three outfit textures) netted me an extra two free Pro 8 bundles and some ‘toys’. (Full value of the order was $643.20 – sadly the order info doesn’t tell you what all was on sale for what price.)

    Give it time, they’ll figure it out and then give us a real sale/bargain on something we can’t do without. ;-)

    That Leroy sale was incredible. You got a certain amount off of several categories and it really added up as there was also some stacking with a previous discount. Like you, I got around $600 worth of stuff for $50. The good old days!

    The on site message has been updated and Brooke 8.1 and her HD should be in your Product Library (and DIM etc.)

    Uninstalled Brooke 8.1 set product to hidden, 

    So far the "free" (was very much paid for) item is useless, and so it the 1st charactor

     I know you uninstalled her and all, but any chance we can get a full-body shot at high resolution (so we can see her face too)? Or maybe just describe what you didn't like about her?

    Yes, she's in my library now.

    I guess tomorrow will be the big day when we'll see if the Season Pass was worth it. I'm curious to see what discount we'll get on the bundle (assuming there will be one).

    I have a CPU render running now, but she doesn't look worth the bother to stop it and download/install her. I guess 8.1 is toontime. Oh well.

    Wow. You know, I figured with the cost of a pass like this, Daz would throw in their A game so people would want to come back for season two or sign up for it, stuff that would normally be your big time sellers, not a character like this. I can, without a shadow of a doubt, say I would never use a character like Brooke in something I'm doing. To quote Gob Bluth, "I've made a huge mistake."

    It's similar to the 4 hour flash sale that runs all day/night sometimes. Daz time is fluid.

    I think that is one reason I am not disappointed is that she isn't just another supermodel character. And with a little bit of finesse and individual style, I think she could be easily worked with for common present day scenes or otherwise.

    It's similar to the 4 hour flash sale that runs all day/night sometimes. Daz time is fluid. 

    Actually it's in a state of flux and very susceptible to time storms and breakage

    She's not a toon/stylistic character? The test render didn't convince me, but if she looks like a real person, then good.
