I found interesting the thing about using Filament for faster and more accurate viewport, sadly I tend to use mesh lights a lot more so it's still not very useful to me
I'd also point out that 3d Universe's catalog is in the sale category for today's stuff... and Jay also showed off those really interesting Pose Architect dials and scene tools. (I already like 3du's figures, toons, and clothing items, so I'll probably have to open up the wallet yet again.)

Reminder that the Contest is supposed to close on May 4, 2021 at 11:59pm (Mountain time).
Of course, without people submitting to the gallery, it's even harder to know how many people have entered this time. I'm guessing the theme will be more appealing to more people than Brooke's "business industry", however.
For me, the (probably) aren't. Not only because I don't have any desire to G8.1 figures right now, but at least the two figures already released are of no interest for me. And I expect it the same for the next three, if they turn out to be like the majority of named figures of the last months.
So yes, for some people, those who buy every named figure for whatever reason - collecting, maybe - these figures do have a value. It's just not an automatic for all people buying here. So for some - like me - this business policy of "give us your money and you get something you might like or not" is beyond of fishy. But that's okay... There's other shops and even DAZ manages to offer deals that makes me spend money here... so I don't really understand the need for discussion here, as there always is the one ultimate option to be taken when one doesn't like an offer: just ignore it.
Yeah, that has been exactly the point since the beginning of this thread and pretty much what I said in that same post. But for some reason people who are obviously not interested in it keeps bashing on it, I can only guess it's because it was not for them and they don't like that.
Will the webinar be available for purchase? It sounds interesting.
For whatever it's worth, as a SP buyer I really wouldn't mind if it was made available for free to everyone. Like I have said, it's the one thing I think shouldn't have been part of the SP since it was not something aimed for everybody or maybe even the average Daz user, while the webinar is
Aren't forums the place where people discuss things? I'd like there to be free discussions for as long as possible. It will be missed once it's gone.

The Season Pass/No-SP schism makes discussion very weird at times. It's weird to be kind of a gatekeeper of information about Daz stuff, as little information as I actually have.

Daz obviously shouldn't have put links in the message, but the fact that they lead to a "opps" page is "normal" since it's early release so the product pages are not up in the store yet.
Jazz will not have a daz page until she is released for everyone.

Psych! They did it again, silly wabbit! Don't you know that we won't get the new character until a little less than 11 hours from Daz midnight? That's what they did the last two times, and this must be their rule. Of course, if it's an actual rule, then they probably won't do it.

Hello All:
1) I'm kind of glad I'm not imagining the problems with the delivery of this program. I thought it was just me.
2) I also did not get the goblins poses until this morning. Admittedly, I wasn't worried because it was a pose set for a figure I don't own. What a freebie? I don't know who made the decision to make that pose set free, but it seemed more like an advertisement to buy the goblin than it did anything else. The other freebies were more general and could be used by almost anyone. The goblins, not so much. I just don't understand this decision. But at least I could download them, a day late.
3) Jazz is at least showing up in my inbox more than a day early from its release (I guess). One of my biggest complaints so far with the program is that when we've received the other two figures, it was not at least 24 hours in advance. I often check out the website first thing in the morning (before 9AM EST) and then maybe late at night (after 11PM EST). And both of the two previous figures showed up to me late at night, usually 3 or 4 hours before they actually were released.
4) Is there going to be a link for those of us who couldn't make the community webinar? I haven't seen anything yet. I'm going to go back and hunt through these messages to see, but thought I would say something here since I was making a list. (UPDATE - I did just see a previous post that said the webinar would be made available at a later date)

I'm pretty okay with the Season Pass content so far. The first two figures are great imho, and the freebies are fine.
And since the core figures and HD were the only stuff I regularly got for the last months, and are consistently solid, it didn't seem like a huge gamble for me.
Now the organization around the SP could definitely be a lot smoother. Contest parameters change or are unclear.
Discounts or special offers disappear too quickly, and banners consistently show up hours or even days before the items.
Especially the last one seems to irk a lot of folks.
I presume the banners are scheduled to activate automatically after they're set up, whereas the content itself goes through a different system?
So after it happened the first time, you'd think Daz controls for it the second time around? Or at least the third?
Yeah, I don't know what's going on there. Maybe different people working with different info?
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for any extra freebies.
And the idea of a Season Pass to package a series of characters with extra benefits like contests is great.
No regrets from my side, really, but I hope Daz manages to smooth things out for the latter half.

They were firm on one rule, no refunds on the Season Pass.
On the fun side for me, I can barely see this morning. My eye infection seemed to be easing, until I put my glasses on, and I realized everything was widely out of focus. I am only able to see the forums at a +4 enlargement. Tried working with DIM and DS and it is painful. So no matter how good the character is, I doubt I will take it out for a spin for days.
No, it’s because they REMOVED perks from those who used to get them. I haven’t gotten a single orange banner since this Season Pass started and I used to get them all the time. I used to ALWAYS get orange banners for bundles. I only buy bundles, I have no interest in single core characters but I guess Daz no longer cares about bundle buyers. It’s almost as if Daz has completely lost interest in me as a customer.
Won't help, the response will be there's so many great attributes to the pass that they hope you'll find something to enjoy. I already sent in a ticket. They have our money. Heck it's been over two weeks since I requested my flair to be removed, still see it. Even got a response saying the request has been put in. I don't believe anything will work out correctly the rest of the way for this, saw the jazz banner last night and laughed when she wasn't in the library. Never again will I do this.
