Putting what I've researched and explained in the TA optimised radial lighting tutorials to the test. This scene is a remake of an old Bryce 6 scene with new lighting. One of Horo's HDRI is used for reflection and another as a gel for the TA lights through the ambient channel (this was captured with the Spherical Mapper in another scene with just Horo HDRI showing - as covered in the videos). The idea was to try and achieve as realistic a lighting environment as possible. My origami birds however, are a bit too perfect to fool anyone. Never mind.
Another remake of an old scene using the new TA optimised radial lights with gels. Following the process explained in my most recent video tutorials - which can be viewed/endured (delete as appropriate) here http://www.youtube.com/user/davidbrinnen/videos

Here with the added challenge (for me because I am not very good with DS) of bringing in Vicky - I got really adventurous this time and changed her pose. She is pensive. And I bet she wishes she had some shoes on (not figured out how to add shoes yet).
