Bright, fun pict! I like the shadows, and the bright outside city contrasting with the sterile white of the inside of the building works very well. Is that the old Starfox character?
Here is another reworking of one of my first renders. The original had completely flat, dull lighting, so not really me at all. I've also changed the characters used, refined the poses and adjusted the camera focal length, plus some tweaking to various surfaces. This is now much closer to what I originally wanted.

Love these, they look like effects I might have use for in the future. I'd forgotten about the Nirvana Chess Cafe, still very impressive and still lots of fun!

Hm, I guess you and others in here inspired me to take up animation again, now that I have a better rig. I did dust off DraagonStorm's animated textures script and got it to work. With these (volumetrics renders) I thought maybe to do some material animation tests, but true volumetrics do cost rendertime.
Regarding the Chess Cafe, I would like to do kind of a slide show, using HQ awe renders, just have to re-create the soundtrack that got lost years ago...
Sven,
Hello. If you still remember them, would you provide a brief sequence of the steps that you used to get DraagonStorm's Animated Textures Script Pro to work like she demonstrated in her product video (https://www.daz3dhttps://www.daz3d.com/animated-textures-script-pro-for-daz-studio-3-4.com/animated-textures-script-pro-for-daz-studio-3-4)? I finally bought her product last week but have not been able to get it to work like she demonstrated in her video. I’m running Daz Studio 4.21. Thanks.

re PiratesCove
Great render!
I like the contrast in this: the people are clearly in an 'intense, dramatic' story, whilst the setting has a calm 'life goes on' feel.
Was this your intention Sven or is it just my interpretation?
Yes, pretty much along the lines of "should have been home by now":) Tks for your comment!
The Puffer (re-visited)
That really is one of the most worrisome of feelings, "should have been home by now"
Another reworking of one of my early attempts.

I rendered this in 3Delight with an HDR as a light source and wanted some critique on the render iteself not the image content. Thanks.
..that is really nice, reminds me of a wide scene from an old film.
