...when will cities stop making the stupid decision to build light rail and streetcars? This morning there was a major wreck in downtown and all four LRT lines were brought to a halt for over an hour.
Meanwhile buses in the city centre were simply able to detour around the mess and continue running..
why does it take at least two or three hours to go via bus to a place that is in the same zip code as the stop started at?

Heck today I see 12 year olds with 400$ I-Phones. When I was that age, I had to ask permission to use phone at home, or go to the call box down the street and hope I had the extra nickel in my pocket for the call.

My little Betta who I keep on my desk is acting like a fish. All he does is swim around all day. That is all he does.
...guess that's better than acting like a cat and just sleeping most of the day (until you go to the kitchen and open a can - they have a natural radar sense sense for that).
Tell me about it. The smaller one of my two loves raw chicken. She also drinks the juice that comes out when frozen chicken is defrosted. She can be fast asleep and seemingly dead to the world in her box and you can walk out to the kitchen several times.until that trip to the kitchen when I am actually going to start preparing a meal. All of a sudden there she is sitting there so politely waiting for me to remove the defrosted chicken from the bowl, leaving a couple of small pieces in the liquid for her, so she can have here share. How she knows that particular trip is the vital one I am never certain
it is raining and i left my umbrella. i am not heading back out when i get home.
Home now. At least I have not gotten a DUI for sitting on the bus drinking mountain dew lemonade. That is lemonade with a kick but I am not feeling it right now.
