Ah crack depth, still trying to get that working right so it works on all clothes in a way.

Heh, I've been trying out some of my converted outfits; they're mostly OK until I turn her round. You've never seen such an amazing wedgie in your life. :gulp: :ahhh: :shut: :-/

Just finished installing the new version tonight, so I can now play around with Fit Control. It's impressive right now, I'm looking forward to the extras you're working on.

Thanks. :) Slaving away adding the rest of the morphs and getting the male version done lol. Also running through the requests in the thread and seeing what can be implemented as well:) So lots of coffee and testing here on my side

Male version! Yay!! I can hear that wallet vacuum already revving up over in the corner here. LOL

I love this thing. It works wonderfully. If I could add functions to it, I'd want something that would sort of pull the clothing away from Genesis' torso to sort of remove the 'imprinted abs' look when using muscled figures. Ditto for the legs; loose cargo pants would not show the imprints of muscular legs. :) And yes, I would LOVE to have this functionality for both G1's and the G2's. Because I mostly use G1, but do occasionally break out my G2Ms.

The other thing I'd like to see (and from what I've read, I see you're working on it, or at least thinking on it) is definitely something to deal a little bit better with the Daz Atomic Wedgie from Hell +10FireDamage.... (:D) What we have in it right now can help a bit, but it sort of tries to keep the wedgie shape while pulling the cloth away from the buttocks and hips. :D

Beyond that, what I'd like to see is maybe a 'width' morph for the breast area. Specifically, to pull the cloth away from the breast area in a horizontal manner. Both the G2F and Genesis 1 have a tendency to have these unrealistically placed breasts, where they never quite seem to make it across the torso. Oh, sure, lots of morphs exist for sizing of cup and such, but so far, we don't have a good way of handling the width (left to right) across the torso.

An item in the FitControl that would let us apply a bit of 'width' (NOT cup size/diameter!) to the breast area of clothing would go a LONG way to more realistically shaped female torsos on both the G1's and the G2F's.

That's really all I can think of that I might need right now. Beyond that, I just absolutely love this thing! Thank you! As Ski said - worth every penny!

Does your product only work with certain clothes? All I get are four icons to add or remove and they don't work. If it only works with certain clothes, then it is a total waste of money.

Select the figure (Genesis/Genesis 2) and click the corresponding Add icon. After a few seconds you should get a confirmation dialog. Make sure the figure has some clothing on.

There is a user guide that comes with it. I don't like resorting to RTM but in this case it is only a few pages and it does explain how it works.

    Quickly.

    1. Select the Character (not the clothing). The character should have clothing on though.
    2. Click the Plus icon - it will tell you it has added the morphs.
    3. Look in the parameters for the clothing (not the character, this time). Usually they are under Actor>Fit Control (if I'm remembering correctly).

Is there anything listed in the log?

I've seen that "reading the file" error when I've tried to apply something to a figure but forgot to select the figure in the scene tab. Make sure that Genesis or Genesis 2 Female is selected in the scene tab before you click the plus icon.

Also make sure that you are apply the Genesis version to Genesis or the G2F version to Genesis 2 Female. The scripts are different.

All it says is failed to load. And I don't get the option to select which type of genesis figure I'm using. Looks like I've just wasted more money on another useless product.

The Genesis version is under People>Genesis>Clothing

The G2F vesion is under People >Genesis 2 Female > Clothing

I have just finished uninstalling and reinstalling the program for the fifth time and none of the controls works no matter what suggestions you have given me. So thanks for all the help but I think I'm going to delete the program and move on.

Sorry about that. A bit of detail about how you were trying to apply the morphs might have helped. Also, you could PM Zev0 - he's very helpful. I have the product and it works as advertised for me (and I am no stranger to complaining when things don't work).

What OS do you use & which version of DAZ Studio do you have? It is listed under: Help > About Daz Studio.

Also the log file would be useful for troubleshooting, it's under: Help > Troubleshooting > View Log File.

Even if you give up this may be useful for others to troubleshoot but I understand if you don't want to spend more time on it.

Fit Control works as advertised for most of us, and we lIke it very much. If it won't work for you, and you are tired of struggling with it, return it for a full refund. Don't just delete it and move on with resentment. Get your money back and respend it on something that you will enjoy.

For my last attempt I loaded a Victoria 6 figure. Then a tank top that works with Genesis, Genesis 2 and Victoria 6. I selected the Victoria 6 figure, then made sure the figure was selected on the scene and parameters tab. Next I went to clothing for Genesis two and selected the fit control. I still get the pop up saying there is a problem.

Would greatly appreciate if you could let us know your DAZ Studio version number. You might catch the base number on the load screen, icon, shortcut or window title. The full number is listed under: Help: About Daz Studio. Thanks.

First of all thanks for Fit Control. Awesome product which improves a lot or renders drastically. Was an instant buy - upping my Zev0 collection to 12 of 44 ;-)

Some questions or maybe feature requests:

    # Pelvic area: Left pull, right pull, back pull
Your last promo pic (http://www.daz3d.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/p/o/popup_9_10_3.jpg) shows what looks like a side pull (left part of image). I struggle to get this effect as the only dial provided is front pull. Any workaround or did I miss something?

    # Pelvic area: Back depth
You mentioned that you've included (or working on) additional morphs for the lower body. As the "shrink wrap effect" is often also applied to the buttocks, it would be great to add some morphs to "bridge the cleft" a little thus helping to avoid underwear or trousers have that "spandex" look. Here's an example: http://www.daz3d.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/0/4/04-hongyus-cowgirl-3-for-genesis-2-females-daz3d.jpg. I tried all available morphs but the crotch morphs apply only to the front and the loosen morphs just make the pants to wide. Will those morphs be added later on or am I just missing the right settings of the existing dials?

    Thanks!

Thanks for this product! It really makes a difference in so many clothes...
Now all I need is a way to get the clothes out of the navel...

Hi Marty01. To pull to the side as shown in promo the morphs I used was "Torso loosen Side L\R" located under the Torso adjusters. They are located there because they work on all types of clothing including underwear. With regards to the back morph to smooth out the area between the cheeks, I am working on it. Having trouble coming up with a universal solution but I'm getting there I think. These will most likely be included in the product update pack I am working on. Thanks for your feedback and support:)

If the navel is dialed on the figure it is probably being projected onto the clothing, click on the clothing and search for any navel morphs. If it is dialed up set it to 0. See if that works.

I've lost track of the update status. Does the DIM have the most up to data version of Fit Control now, or do I still need the update files posted here by Zev0?

Be great if male pants and shorts could slip and slide below the hips. Could use for poses of guys getting dressed or undressed. For tops, too, I think it would be great if a shirt or sweater could be moved so that it looked like the sweater was being put on or taken off.

I have included the option to slide pants, underwear etc to move down. I have also updated the pull down morphs for the female so that clothing items other than underwear can be used. With regards to the sweaters being put on I will have to test what morphs would actually work, and how viable they would be on more than one item. By next month the first update for females as well as the male version will be complete. I am flying away on business tomorrow but when I return It will be full steam ahead. But I am taking my laptop with in case I have free time so I can get more done quicker lol.

There is no official update yet. I decided instead of multiple minor ones, I am doing a big update instead.

    Hello,
I have installed Fit Control using the DAZ Download Manager, and again manually installed it, and it still does not want to activate the morphs. I have followed the instructions in the PDF Manual to the letter (yes, Smoothing and Collision are on) I am selecting a Genesis figure in D|S 4.8 Pro, the clothing was auto-fit to the figure (originally designed for V4). It seems to run, but does not load any morphs, and does not give the "Completed" prompt. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

This is one of my favorite new products :cheese:

Is there any way of making the back move away from a figure's like the front morphs do for the chest? Did a render in which the front of her dress looks great, the body is a little loose but the butt area is still kinda shrink-wrapped :-P The morphs that come with the dress allow the bottom to flare but it also impacts the front which I don't want :shut:

Only one I have there to do that is the Straighten Back morph or the Loosen Back morph. I can see if I can squeeze in more options. I was just about to upload the update lol. More details in my next post.
