    ---Benny Hill.

    Nice work. Both Carrara?

ca :) i remembers Benny Hill. they did like fast forward skits with fun music.

There was a Benny Hill skit where he had people in little carts that looked like the bottom halves of Daleks, and they scooted around on the stage in time with the music of one of the themes of the "Lt. Kije Suite" by Prokofiev
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmIzZ3tAv58 (example of theme between 8:35 and 9:30 and variations in several other places)
I've been trying to find a tape or DVD or YouTube of that skit without out success.

    Bumper/dodgem cars?

I think smaller. More like the circular/octagonal bottom halves of a Dalek without the "bumps" of a Dalek. Of course this was three decades ago and memories fade and morph but I was very impressed with the choreographed ballet that the little carts did to a classical sounding music that was NOT the standard Benny Hill theme. I later believe I remembered and recognized the music as one of the variations of the principle theme from Prokofiev's "Lt. Kije Suite".

I don't think there's a YouTube clip of that skit but I would like to know which episode it came from so I can narrow down my search.

But as long as I'm talking about the "Lt. Kije Suite" it also contains a segment called "Troika" (three-horse sleigh) that is found in the above YouTube link between 11:17 and 13:37.

I don't usually get animated while listening to music that I like but this suite has several places which seem to set my whole body swaying and shrugging and bouncing in a most uncharacteristic way for me.

And there's a very short little segment between 14:05 and 14:40 that just snares my imagination like a leaf in a dust devil.

Blech, stuck at home today with "digestive distress". :shut:

Playing with Bryce, though! Makes me feel less miserable...

Yep, starting to love me some Bryce! Just playing with some of the demo scenes is fun, getting used to the nav and such.. but wow, the landscapes and skies! :bug:

I think a nap soon.. feel all wore out. Blech. :shut:

You definitely can make some killer landscapes in Bryce

I've settled on Bryce as my go-to alum art tool, for sure. Wish I'd had it for "Thrown Against The Sky", the cover art would have been FAR more kick-butt!

Already thinking about the cover of "Drifting in Twilight".. it's going to be killer.. heh heh! :snake:

Customer asked for more bass.. he gets more bass.. "face-melting" bass! SHAKE, GROUND, SHAKE! :snake:

Can't wait to do a Bryce animation and then do the soundtrack.. hee hee.. need a faster machine first. :blank:

...I use it to create sky backdrops as well for Daz scenes. Especially useful with teh Iray sun/sky as skydomes act like a big bowl placed upside down over the scene.

Yeah, fighting DS to make a nice surreal scene is like swimming up into a dam.. hard work and you get nowhere. Bryce does the job!

I would pay cold, hard cash for a 64-bit Bryce.. I don't want to go back to my ancient copy of Vue, man, was it a pain the tailfin to use.. argh..

...Vue and Daz don't always work well together either. Vue's more "friendly" with Poser for importing characters.
