They said they would stop spidering sites that weren't "mobile ready". A lot of places like this rely on people stumbling across them while using Google so Daz need Google to continue spidering them even though it can slow the forums and store to a crawl when the spiders swarm in.

Big breasted women are hot all year long. Ask any hormone driven straight man.

It's been said that during our whole lives we're never more than 5 feet away from a spider. Google just moved them to our pockets.

If the following events had occurred a year ago I'd have sent the following story to Jaderail in a PM as it would have him both laughing and rolling his eyes as he'd have had to deal with the same kind of situation a number of times in his years as a grocery store manager. Since that PM isn't possible I'll post the story here with a request: If any of you folks ever find yourselves in the position of being one of the people setting up a large gathering where you will be cooking food for your guests PLEASE contact the store you plan on purchasing your ingredients from a week or so before you need them. A little after 7am Wednesday morning we got a call from a lady needing to get a lot of stuff for a big family reunion. 500 tortillas. Apparently the ones we make in the store. 200 hambuger buns. 200 hotdog buns. Whatever she arranged for burgers and dogs with the meat manager. 30 dozen eggs. 5 gallons of diced potatos like you put in burritos. 60 avocados, 10 watermelons. 20 cantalopes. Wednesday afternoon she called back and added 250-300 biscuits. Soooooo..... When does she want this stuff by? Early Friday morning. Part of it we could arrange to be in today like the potatos and the meats. After getting off the phone with her I looked in the Food Service books to locate the potatos she wanted and then called the warehouse to get them added to our Thursday delivery (this incurred a $15.00 late fee)The meat market manager either would have (possibly) already had enough meat on hand or would have also had to call for an addition. (No late fee though as there is only one charge for the store, not a charge on every item added) Part we would already have due to the amount of things we normally order like the produce items and the fact the the General Manager is ordering 18ct eggs by the pallet. Our bread orders however arrive on Monday, Wednesday and Friday so TG would either have to set aside most of the store brand buns we got in Wednesday or order a larger than normal batch for Friday. 500 tortillas takes time and Wednesday morning we figured that what would need to be done is the tortilla people make the order Thursday evening so they would be as fresh as possible for Friday morning while still being able to make the batches they need to make for sale in the store Friday morning as usual. Got a call from work just a little after 1pm Thursday. The folks had showed up to get a lot of their order. I don't know how much of it they could get Thursday but the potatos were ready with a case price and everything and the meats probably had already been set aside and priced too. Hopefully V got hold of the produce manager at home and got the prices for that stuff. Don't know what TG will have said about the buns.

Since it's now afternoon in the Eastern time zone, how did that all work out?

Humph. Editing doesn't put the spacing back in my post. It's still a single paragraph even though it actually isn't. I understand the need to make the site "moblie ready" due to Google's ultimatum but how do those of us on real computers get a "normal' display like Misty is getting? She has spacing in her one of her posts on this page.

    Use the Enter key.

    That's what I do.

    Works every time.

Well, I've caught up on the forums. So I went to Notifications, clicked on the gear and clicked on Mark Forums Viewed (I think that's the wording...forgot already). The count went to zero...but all the notifications are still there. That must be taking up server space...needlessly.

Yep, search and map. Oh, and images. Screw the rest of it. cheeky I navigate by brain power, not following a dot on a screen. I find a restaurant by asking people and driving in the area and physically seeing a restaurant that will do even if it's not a Chinese-Bagle-Creamery-Spagetti-Tavern. I have a google email address only because it seemed necessary at some point in the past. I never use it. I don't even know what other innane features Google offers these days. I don't care. search, map, image. indecision

I'm sure they have every pertinant and impertinant piece of information about me that anyone who cared to, would want to find. I almost believe that I trust them with it more than the government! surprise

If you are stuck in Source view (no WYSIWYG) try putting
...
tags around your paragraphs.

    Let's see....

    did this work

That did work. Thanks. Now to go look up the instruction on WYSIWYG. I remember seeing them but didn't really look closely enough to realize that might be my problem.

It looks like I am stuck in source view, at least for the time being.

That may be solvable as well with some poking around. The funny part is the spell check is working even though paragraphs don't do so automatically.

Just click on the source button to remove it

    back hurts.

Hope that gets better soonest. Have you tried putting an ehating pad on it?

I took my brain out to see if I could figure out why it was hurting. Now I can't get it back in my head. It's just one **** thing after another. frown
