Wednesday afternoon she called back and added 250-300 biscuits. Soooooo..... When does she want this stuff by? Early Friday morning. Part of it we could arrange to be in today like the potatos and the meats. After getting off the phone with her I looked in the Food Service books to locate the potatos she wanted and then called the warehouse to get them added to our Thursday delivery (this incurred a $15.00 late fee)The meat market manager either would have (possibly) already had enough meat on hand or would have also had to call for an addition. (No late fee though as there is only one charge for the store, not a charge on every item added) Part we would already have due to the amount of things we normally order like the produce items and the fact the the General Manager is ordering 18ct eggs by the pallet. Our bread orders however arrive on Monday, Wednesday and Friday so TG would either have to set aside most of the store brand buns we got in Wednesday or order a larger than normal batch for Friday. 500 tortillas takes time and Wednesday morning we figured that what would need to be done is the tortilla people make the order Thursday evening so they would be as fresh as possible for Friday morning while still being able to make the batches they need to make for sale in the store Friday morning as usual. Got a call from work just a little after 1pm Thursday. The folks had showed up to get a lot of their order. I don't know how much of it they could get Thursday but the potatos were ready with a case price and everything and the meats probably had already been set aside and priced too. Hopefully V got hold of the produce manager at home and got the prices for that stuff. Don't know what TG will have said about the buns.

    Jaderail sees this and is laughing his sillyass off.  Stupid AND complaint worthy.

    ...finally a break here. 11:45 and still in the mid 60s instead of near upper 80s.  Yesterday only made it to 82° in the 'hood. Opened the door last night and put the fan there to blow air in which really cooled things down, got the best night's sleep in over two weeks.  High today only in the low to mid 70s so enjoying it while I can.

    Anxiously awaiting Pluto fly-by but afraid I may not be home Monday morning.  Serious pain in my lower left abdomen has me thinking I have a hernia.  Been noticing temporary pain a few hours after I eat for a couple of weeks.  Now it's seriously gotten my attention and caused a few loud uncontrollable screams.  If I push on it it doesn't hurt and actually relieves the pain.  I don't have a fever.  My skin (blubber and all) distends noticeably.  I don't have my appendix on the wrong side of my body, Also the distention is not far enough back to be my kidney.  Problem goes away over night but re-appears a few hours after breakfast or lunch.   I had a major sneezing fit a few days ago and I think I felt something rip down there.  Either that or it's a cracked minor rib (but that would probably hurt more if I pushed on it).  Or possibily pancreatic cancer but again that would probably hurt more if I pressed on it.   Soooo... If you don't hear from me for a few days I'm out testing the limits of my Medicare coverage.  If it runs out in the middle of my surgery I wonder if they'll stop?  No, I suppose they wouldn't kill the golden goose even if they had to squeeze the last egg out if it over time.  But I've come to the conclusion that this needs to be looked at, it ain't normal and ain't gonna go away by itself and I don't want it to burst and spew intestine juice into my abdomen.  Ewwwww, Owwwww.  That's a lot nastier to clean up than preventative surgery.

    ...been through one myself.  Was borught on by a severe bout of coughing on evening.

    Yeah, not a lot of fun. Dealt with it for a while (using one of the "braces"), as I had no way to pay for the surgery at the time. Was more just discomforting than painful.  When I finally got some decent health coverage through my company (Providence which was well worth the premium back then as they had very nice copays and only a 450$ deductible instead of 2,000$ for the one the company switched to a few years later), Cost me total just over 500$ for nearly 4,500$ in surgery, prescription, and associated tests.    It also actually also qualified me for the company's bizzare sick time policy as I was definitely had a physician's excuse and was laid up for over a week while restricted from lifting anything heavier than a book or two so I only lost about 2 day's pay insteaad of over a week. Was done with a local anesthetic as well, and never felt a thing during the whole procedure. and for a while afterwards.

    Very glad I had it done though as it could have become worse with time.

    My roommate thinks that I am being ill, she told me to be quit being so ill.  Oh huh?  I am the one who has to have my room in darkness so she can get her beauty sleep.

    Welsh ponies and Welsh cobs are similar, but not the same.  Ponies are smaller, on average about 12.2 hands high although some groa a little larger.  lovely little pony, but nothing like Shetland Ponies.

    82F here at 8:30AM, going to hit 94f today and be mid-90s all week.  Blech.  Will hide indoors, maybe only go out for beer. indecision

    Need to make some music today.. must re-install all my Absynth and Padshop patches.. urgh..

    Hot tea is hot.  Want ice tea.  Meh.

    A nice cooling breakfast, nuts and a whole yellow bell pepper from the fridge!  Sooooooo tasty! laugh
