    Lesee: 2 and a half point versions behind current Poser, a major and two point versions behind LW, wow Painter is current, a major and three point versions behind the current Motion, same for Final Cut, GIMP I got a Cocoa version that works, Studio two point versions behind, Carrara 8.5 release,  Logic is current, Da Vinci is current, Premiere 6 !! , Mojoworld will never upgrade, Firefox 39, Thunderbird 38,  think most other stuff belongs to the OSs.  Uh just noticed been using current LW modeller, must have ibstalled the latest upgrade

    I just bought a pencil drawing kit.  Now I need to learn what 3B, 2B, B, HB, H, and 2H graphite pencils are.  The drawing kit also includes a ruler, a manikin, charcoal pencils and blending stumps,

    All it is is the hardness of the graphite and how much it will smear

    I have never heard of the phrase smear before.  I'll go research the hardness graphite pencils and smearing.    Thanks.  Its been a while since I have used pencils to draw art.

    Smearing is when you draw a line and use a tool or you figer and run it over it to smear it. It's used for shading

    i'm stuck in excel.  there's no date picker like Access has.  i can't assign events for 5 button mouse.

    i made a double click event that will automatically put today's date in a cell. my 5 button mouse has buttons on the sides that normally page back and forward in web pages.  i want the page back button to decrease the date in the cell by one day,

    ...I used to use what is called a "blending stump" which is a pencil like tool made of layers of tightly wrapped soft grey paper:

     

     

    The issue with using a finger is the paper's surface would also pick up the oil from your skin so if you tried to add any highlighting into the shaded area with say, a kneaded eraser, you get a greasy smudge rather than a clean highlight that was permanent.
