The birds called tits.  Maybe because kitties and tits are mortal enemies.

Found out that I am missing a complete box of organic microwave macaroni.

What kind of macaroni requires an organic microwave?  Also, please explain organic microwave.  Giant radish radios?

Perhaps an organic microwave is what you get when you stuff some microchips in the ground and water them but use no anti-virus bug repellant on them?

...so as I read over on the Using the new Forums thread, we are not only losing posts but uploaded images in older threads/posts as well. Not very good for any challenge thread like the PC Monthly Challenge, Carrara Challenge, or RRRR Challenge (the latter which has been going on since last month).  Also not good for tutorial and Promotional threads.

After about the first page or so of a thread, you start getting the "broken image" Icon where the pic should be and a 404 error when clicking on it.

This really needed a good "shakedown" before going public.

...thank you.  Now we need some format repair. Don't know why the first line of my Sig is indented as in the edit window it's flush left.

...oh, and allowing FF auto spellcheck to work like it used to..

..ach never mind, I see it has to do with where the sig ends up in the post.  One would think there should be some sort of a "footer" format for sigs so they only appear at the very bottom rather than the middle of the post window..

I inserted a horizontal line at the top of my sig. That seems to sort it out.

Please note that some problems being experienced, including the Image one, are not being experienced by all members.   So it is not WE are losing, it is rather Some People are not seeing images. Problems that are not occurring for everyone are alwasy harder to trace.

I mean how do I get an image to display like this one ?

  • Yesterday, went to peek at the forums at work cause I had a complaint (which I have since forgotten) and was quite confused at how everything looked.  I could only get about five or six words on my screen, no matter how I rotated the phone. The majority of the space is taken up by the users icon.  This morning, rotating my phone long-ways finally seems working but it's still very wonky looking with such large icons and very short lines of text.

sounds like a browser issue, I see the same kinda stuff on my antique iphone but the up to date ipad seems to work OK

If the following events had occurred a year ago I'd have sent the following story to Jaderail in a PM as it would have him both laughing and rolling his eyes as he'd have had to deal with the same kind of situation a number of times in his years as a grocery store manager. Since that PM isn't possible I'll post the story here with a request: If any of you folks ever find yourselves in the position of being one of the people setting up a large gathering where you will be cooking food for your guests PLEASE contact the store you plan on purchasing your ingredients from a week or so before you need them. A little after 7am Wednesday morning we got a call from a lady needing to get a lot of stuff for a big family reunion. 500 tortillas. Apparently the ones we make in the store. 200 hambuger buns. 200 hotdog buns. Whatever she arranged for burgers and dogs with the meat manager. 30 dozen eggs. 5 gallons of diced potatos like you put in burritos. 60 avocados, 10 watermelons. 20 cantalopes. Wednesday afternoon she called back and added 250-300 biscuits. Soooooo..... When does she want this stuff by? Early Friday morning. Part of it we could arrange to be in today like the potatos and the meats. After getting off the phone with her I looked in the Food Service books to locate the potatos she wanted and then called the warehouse to get them added to our Thursday delivery (this incurred a $15.00 late fee)The meat market manager either would have (possibly) already had enough meat on hand or would have also had to call for an addition. (No late fee though as there is only one charge for the store, not a charge on every item added) Part we would already have due to the amount of things we normally order like the produce items and the fact the the General Manager is ordering 18ct eggs by the pallet. Our bread orders however arrive on Monday, Wednesday and Friday so TG would either have to set aside most of the store brand buns we got in Wednesday or order a larger than normal batch for Friday. 500 tortillas takes time and Wednesday morning we figured that what would need to be done is the tortilla people make the order Thursday evening so they would be as fresh as possible for Friday morning while still being able to make the batches they need to make for sale in the store Friday morning as usual. Got a call from work just a little after 1pm Thursday. The folks had showed up to get a lot of their order. I don't know how much of it they could get Thursday but the potatos were ready with a case price and everything and the meats probably had already been set aside and priced too. Hopefully V got hold of the produce manager at home and got the prices for that stuff. Don't know what TG will have said about the buns.

Humph. Editing doesn't put the spacing back in my post. It's still a single paragraph even though it actually isn't. I understand the need to make the site "moblie ready" due to Google's ultimatum but how do those of us on real computers get a "normal' display like Misty is getting? She has spacing in her one of her posts on this page.
