I tried to research if the school is legit or not and all I got was confusion.

Kulay, check out edX.  Classes are from top schools and you can either get a certificate for a low price or take them free with no certificate.  I'm enrolled in one from MIT and one from Harvard.

I'm back, but not sure for how long.  But are any of us?

Went to the emergency room to get examined for hernia and schedule another time to fix it.  They immediately changed the subject and freaked out over my heartbeats.  I reluctantly agreed to be checked into the hospital overnight for "observation".  Before I knew it they were poking and prodding me and drugging me and leaving me alone with nothing but a low level subscription to cable TV that I had to pay for, and a remote control that only went up or down one channel at a time through 75 channels and gave you no information about the program on the channel.  (Arghh... my brain is fried).  They kept me there Sunday night and Monday night by which time I'd had enough.  They had me hooked up to a wireless heart monitor and I could hear the alarm go off at the nurses station everytime I got up to take a pee.  A gaggle of doctors came in to see me, each with a pet theory of how to fix me.  I finally said "STOP" and refused any more treatment.  If my time has come my time has come, but I'm not going to spend my last money laying in a bed in a hospital waiting to die for the next 20 years.  My only regret is that I've gotten too fat to get into the seat of a heart stopping roller coaster.  I have a bucket list and I'm going to start seriously working on those items.  I'll continue to visit my cardiologist and accept new medications he suggests but I'm not going to be a guinea pig in a cage while they steal my life's savings.  I have no decendent family, I have no obligations, personal or financial.  If my time comes, my time comes.  I've been ready for it for decades. enlightened

Meanwhile, I'll be in the forums every day taunting you all as the opportunities arise until I get terminally bored or just terminal. devil

Damn, is your dr here in Austin?  I had to go into my dr's office about a month ago just to get a prescription renewal.  I was fine when I went in, no problems.  By the time I got out, I had an UTI and a myocardial infarction.  I suppose it's a good thing I went in fine.  If I had gone in sick, I would probably have come out dead.  She did refer me to a cardiologist.  After waiting over an hour past the appointment time, the cardio talked to me about 5 minutes and referred me somewhere else for a couple of tests that would take 4 hours.  BS!  I don't have time for that crap.  If I pass away, this old body just passes away.  Thank goodness I didn't get locked up in a hospital though.  Glad you're out now.  Enjoy life to the utmost.

Hopefully it is something temporary and it will just sort itself and disappear...sooner the better.

Not likely by itself. I know where this is heading. If I want to do anything except be a professional couch potato I'll need a basket full of drugs. Or a pacemaker or a new heart with a basket full of drugs on the side. When it gets to the point where I can't list all my meds on a matchbook cover it's time to listen for the whistle of the train that is the light at the end of the tunnel. I watched my father turn into an overdrugged addict. Sure he lived another 20 years but it's not a life I'm suited to settle for. No thanks.  I'd rather just live my life as it comes without begging for just one more day. Perhaps it's time to jump on the bicycle and start fighing my way up the hills around here. It will either cure me or kill me outright. surprise

I'll have a good thought for you today LG :)

and don't forget the value of quality rest.  sleep 10 hours a day, sips water everytime you wake up. body needs water to wash out toxins.

Ten hours is way too much.  Recent research has indicated that seven hours is the ideal.  Sleep too many hours, and you end up being groggy all day.  That's no fun.

I could never understand the British overreaction to the word "bloody".  Is it a Victorian thing?  That usually explains a lot of inanities. indecision

It is actually considered quite a laid back, rather namby pamby swear word in the UK, unlike some others.

even had a poem (limerick style) made about it (sort of)

Letter aitch, in some tongues, you can tell,
Is pronounced not at all, or not well.
By the Brits it is rated
    Their second-most hated,
Right after, of course, "bloody ell."

complaint: my mom and brother want me to go to a job interview next week.  I'm like, but I have serious health issues!  I'm going to the hospital on Thursday for diagnostic tests.  The doctor might transfer me to another specialist.  I might need to return to the hospital for further tests next week.  All my mom and parents can think of is my job situation instead of my health??  Um...

Unless you're immobile or the job interview is far away making it impossible to keep health appointments, then you could have both if you wanted.  If you get offered the job, cross that bridge when you come to it.

Seven hours sleep sounds like something happening in paradise laugh or somewhere else anyhow. Been known to sleep eighteen after a triple shift tho...

Granted, I don't often get seven hours myself.  At least, not consecutive hours.  I wake up a lot.  Working a triple shift isn't recommended, either.  Yikes!

I might as well be immobile because I have serious lung issues that is affecting my ability to talk and walk.  I still haven't recieved a diagnosis yet.

Totally not at all a complaint: two friends showed up, we ate grilled ribs and ice cream and watched all season 5 episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic plus two episodes of The Worst Jobs in History.

I think this is what friendship is about: eating a grazing mammal while watching other grazing mammals. Or something. But we had tons of fun, so overall, it was a decent day.

I get between 5 and 12 hours of sleep, depending on my stress level, the day of the week, disturbances, and whether "I can spin my mind down. indecision

...at my age 9 - 10 hours is the norm otherwise I have to take an afternoon nap.  The latter ot very conducive to remaining employed (unless you were the president, then you could nap during staff meetings like Reagan did).

...Well I would say your health is a bit more important as, if you are not feeling well and the interviewer notices so, it can work against you.  Interviews are heck and you need to be at your best to give off a positive impression.

...that sounds serious.   I'd go get yourself examined and tested first. Going into a job interview looking and sounding like you should be in bed will do nothing to help you land that job.
