Complaint- About a month ago I bashed my elbow on a nice ornate moulding on a doorframe, as I ran through it... Don't run in socks on tiled floors is probably the lesson there... So my stupid elbow swelled up... After a week or so it went down, but not completely. It's been pretty sore and a little swollen for a month now and I finally went to an "urgent care" clinic and found out I probably ruptured the bursa sac... So now I have to have my arm wrapped up to reduce the swelling...

IT IS FRIKIN DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!

I can't bend my arm and the pressure on the injury is annoying as all hell... It was a problem before, only when I leaned on it or bumped it into something... Now it's like I'm always leaning on it and just completely distracting... I want to kick something... Grrrrrrr!

    Oh well...

EDITED TO ADD... Happy Birthday tjohn!

    Dana

Thank you, Dana. And thanks to all for the well-wishes. I'm feeling a little better today. planning to go out for a little breakfast this morning.

..waoh, how did Dana know that?

Well happy, (how many is it?) 62 trips around our central main sequence G class stellar primary. Not far behind you.

I take notes.  cheeky  I put it in my Outlook calendar last year.  The reminder popped up two nights ago.

I know, I had to study it for 5 bloody years. Problem was, I was taught Francaise while the Quebecois spoke... well ...Quebecois. Any time I tried to strike up a conversation I was regarded... poorly.

...big contrast in the weather today and for the next week, from the 80s and 90s yesterday to low 70s (*gasp* even upper 60s on Tuesday) with wet stuff from the sky predicted. Forecast to get the first really significant rainfall since mid-late March (some five an a half months ago).  Should help a lot with the fires east of the Cascades. Been a really rough summer here in the usual rainy Northwest.  The've even brought firefighters here from as far away as New Zealand as local crews have been overwhelmed by a fire season this intense.

As if a perfectionist would trust the GPS without cross-checking against an online map.

...just received a weather alert that an "unusually strong" August storm is on it's way for tomorrow morning/early afternoon packing winds that could produce gusts of 65 mph on the cost and 45 mph here in the city.  With trees in full leaf, this could cause issues with downed limbs & branches.
