Might just be the promo angle but there is a difference between the two. The G3F version has gone in to clearance so will no doubt disappear soon.

There's stuff that stays in Clearance a long time.  All it takes is one sale and the product stays another three months.  There's very, very old stuff in Clearance.  FWIW, I own the G3F version and like it more.

Thanks for all the clarification on Clearance. I think I knew about the sales one but not about the vendor involvement one.

If anyone has/gets both versions of Caelan it would be interesting to see a side by side comparison.

It's in clearance because it wasn't selling like the other figures, I'm keeping it in clearance. I know that some people like G3F better than G8F, so I won't remove it from my store.:)
