    ...the final day of the "End of the Year Massive Ketchup Sale" for the Annual Holiday Sale has truly been underwhelming. (and thats even an understatement).  At best only two pages of items for all the individual sales.  Kept spending on purchases to maintain the 35% punch discount in hopes of getting something I missed only for the finale to be a major letdown.

    ...I miss the old days here whne sales were basically just "sales".without all the gimmicks.

    Crikey they even cut by favourite sale of the year (the fall Daz+ Anniversary) by two weeks to introduce G9.(which in the end seemed rather haphazardly done).

    I wish I had pickled herring. Or any canned fish. Except tuna. I cant take tuna right now.

    Don't feel too badly.  There are a lot of people who can't carry a tuna.blush

    I feel like I can't communicate with my housemates anymore, just because I asked someone if they wanted coffee.

    Favorite movie quote:

       I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion... I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain... Time to die.

    yesterday, I had an idea for a render.  Today I forgot what that idea is.

    I really need to figure out how to get PostreSQL working consistently, because I find DS almost unusable without it.

    So a store website I sometimes visited said they just updated their site and made it better than ever.  Turns out this just meant "We removed the Wishlist feature"  since on the surface things look more or less the same.

    There is a store I have a 6 dollar coupon for.  It is only for certain items and only up to 6 dollars off.  I can't decide what I want yet.   They have this thing called Genesis 9, but there isn't much out for the Genesis 9 line.

    oh Genesis 9 isn't a car, but there is a car that goes by Genesis.

    Thank you. Both of you.

    To be honest, my Mum hasn't been well for a while. Lately, she's been struggling to eat. So Mum asked for an appetite stimulant. Let's just say that it backfired... Badly.

    She's much better today. Which means today has been the first day since New Years Eve that I've been able to think clearly (although, my sleep isn't as refreshing as it should be).

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Now, to go and clean the last few dishes in the sink. Check the washing to see if the washing machine really is clean. Then clean mah teef (urgh...). Talk to Mum. Then bed... Reading that back, I feel like I have a mountain to climb :/
    Just start with a small mountain.  It's not so difficult.  I hiked up Cannon Mtn. in NH with my wife some years ago.  Took the tram back down, though...down is tough on the knees.
    Last night I watched Uzumaki, based on the manga by surreal horror artist Junji Ito. It was hilarious, but probably not on purpose. There were so many decisions made where it was hard to tell if they were done deliberately to unsettle the viewer, or if they were just the result of incompetence. It occupies a similar space to the Room in that way (although there's no ambiguity about decisions being made out of incompetence with the Room).
