Non-complaint: This last month has been a busy time for me, I've been out of the house 4 times. Wow!
And tomorrow is yet another mini-adventure day uptown. Wheee...
Nothing special, no doctor appointments, no special shopping needed. I'm just gonna wing it.
Bus leaves here at 8:00 AM, so breakfast & shopping in one place, then bus myself up to the mall for lunch and more shopping. The mall at least has lots of benches for a wobbly old man to sit on. Somewhere along the line, drop by a bank for some cash, . Take a tour of the WalMart. See if JC Penny is alive or dead in the mall. And if I plan it right and waste enough time shopping and eating I could even get a bus back to town at 3:00 PM, instead of having to hire an Uber. Although, I think I'll end up spending more on food than shopping or Uber.
Admittedly, my adventures are getting rather mini lately, but I don't need much adventuring anymore, been there, done that, still healing.
Complaint: What ever happened to NVIATWAS? Seems like environments these days are about 80% contemporary, 15% SciFi, and a smattering of everything else. Surely I haven't bought everything medieval in the store.

I used to play a Hammond organ exactly like that at church
(I was terrified of it with it's smelly cathode tubes thinking I would get electricuted but I still prefered it to reed organ I had to pedal)
...I played one (a B3 with the Leslie speaker) at a chapel in Steven Point WI when I was in college back in the 1970s .
Today they are considered "vintage" and one in restored shape can go for 6,500 USD to over 10,000 USD
when they sold and demolished that church they offered it to me (and it had the Leslie speaker too) I turned it down because I thought it would cost too much to maintain
only one person in Adelaide serviced them

Yeah, I had an organ once also. A Hammond B-2. Smaller than the B-3 and no Leslie speaker. Traded it for a big reel-to-reel tape recorder!
And now that's gone too.
But at least, a Hammond organ was designed to never go out of tune. All the tone generators are fixed in place on the same mechanical shaft and mechanically spin in sync.
Acoustic pianos are expensive to maintain. Tuning by an Average-Joe tuner was $75 in the '70s when people still had pianos and piano tuners were still in the phone book. Also expensive to move, and take up a lot of room, and require tolerant neighbors. Better to just get a high quality electronic piano and headphones.
(Although, there is nothing like the sound & touch of a fine acoustic piano.)
Complaint: Short trip. I did indeed spend more at my breakfast & shopping stop than planned.
So instead of adding to the damage, I just didn't bother going farther uptown to the mall for lunch and more shopping. The status of JC Penney is still in quantum superposition, and the mall benches will go unsat by me today. No 3:00 PM, $2 bus back home. Had to take the Uber ($25)
, but lunch and more shopping would have probably amounted to another $70 more anyway. So, in the long run, I win. Wheee....

I've played on both. Once while performing Debussy's La cathédrale engloutie on a Bösendorfer 290, at certain points ijn eh score i moved my left hand own an octave for the sustained bass notes in the quieter passages. tres profond..
Here is what the lowest octave on the Bösendorfer keyboard sounds like. When played at a softer dynamic (like in La cathédrale) it had almost a spine tingling effect.

I had no idea your cat was that age. It is quite a plot twist to learn the toy the that kept the four ancient cats purring was actually another cat. I was hedging my bets on it being some type of anomaly inside a comet made of... green onions.
That's why I uploaded the second after I took my phone to my computer to upload my pics to the backup. Dang, Phones, I still can't get an upright pic. I use my phone for about 20 minutes a week; I use my second phone for about 5 minutes weekly. It's been that way for years. Now, the Computer and I have a relationship lasting more than a few minutes a week.

...here's how to do it. Download the image to your computer, then open it in Windows Photo Viewer (not sure if there is a Mac equivalent). On the bottom there are a few controls, click the clockwise arrow on the right and it will rotate the image to the upright orientation.
...sweet.

of course I can do everything on my PC, Irfanview is my prefered image fixer for simple stuff (default for displaying)
Complaint: A major coastal storm with 30-40 mph winds (gusts up to 50-60 mph) and heavy rain is coming Sunday through Monday. Widespread power outages are possible. And I will still have to go outside to take my faithfuly dog for her walks. Not a real pleasant couple of days!
You probably know all this, but here are a couple of ways (that work for me) to force the forum software to accept the photographic reorientation.
1)... Rotate and then duplicate the image (top right of screen, small circle with three dots > Duplicate), for some reason this works most of the time (98.9% of the time), but occasionally it randomly doesn't... it seems like the the duplicate usually retains the transformation.
2)... Rotate and send it to yourself via a text or email.
3)... Rotate and take a screenshot, crop screenshot and use that... it's stupid, but it works.
4)... I don't know if this still works, but rotate then slightly crop the photo... one version of iOS or weird episode of forum software oddity this worked well...
5)... Use anything but the forum software to post the picture... like some image hosting site via a link... least desirable, but I've just given up wasting time with all the new and improved problems the image uploading developes constantly, not to mention that the forum since probably 2018, still doesn't upload images using Safari.
I figure you know all that (you've given me good suggestions in the past, so I figure you generally know more about iOS), but the above is more for anyone who may not and is perusing this thread and while using iOS.
