    I'm calling this Mirror, Mirror.

The mature and young version of William facing off...and now I must go and fix seam issues. lol

It looks good.  I love the subtle changes you made to make the one appear older.

With the warm winter that we're having, the snakes have come out of bed early and are making it difficult to walk the dogs on our normal bush tracks.  Back to shorter suburban walks and rendering piccies more often, I feel.

And, back with a bang, I see.  Really nice image!  Nice pose and I love the look with the glasses.  Yikes, snakes?  {{shiver}}  Not a big fan of the slithering type animals!  And, you guys have some nasty types down there, too.  Stay safe!

Result of testing my procedural stuff.

Maybe not quite as sexy as some recent entries here...

Face is a combination of Aging morphs, Marius, Wizard (from Creature Creator), and vascularity, with my WTP shaders.

Eyebrows/ear/nose hair comes from One Man Band, Cody hair, G2M shirt from Wilmap (though the buttons are on the wrong side, tsk!)

@divamakeup - You sometimes worry me lol laugh

@Knittingmommy - I don't have a problem with the snakes, but as my dogs like bouncing through the undergrowth, chasing lizards...  the vet's only open one day a week.

and, thanks folks smiley  I was lazy creating this chap - he's a mixture of genx'd characters, so resembles most of my other boys.

The skin looks just about perfect for an older guy like this. yes

Great job on the age spots!  His teeth look like he has smoked and drank a lifetime of coffee!  :)

Ohhh Nice That's some great work there. I love the added hair coming out of his nose and ears - I mean it's really gross but pretty accurate. lol My grandpa has nose and ear hair and while EWWW I think it's awesome that you gave that old guy those touches of realism. :)

I'm looking forward to your skin shader - I think that might look great on my toon characters! :D

Worried? What can be worrisome? Just because I MAY have it hot and heavy for a couple of your characters -that are fictional and made up solely of pixels- what can be worrisome about that? lol :P

Toon skin will definitely be way easier with this. Heh.

I really need to take a break from the skin and round out some of the other stuff. The neat thing about skin is that it's so challenging to do with procedural stuff, and helps me push what it can do.

Slightly scuffed up metal/wood/plastic is pretty easy.

Nothing, nothing at all, Divamakeup.  lol

@KevinH  - thanks.  Too beefy for my liking, although they don't look too bad in this pic.  I still need to make some changes to the character, although I don't think they'll be possible :(

What changes where you wanting to make that you don't think are possible?

Essentially, I want his head only as a single dial morph.  Currently, he's made up of three separate, single dial characters so his head comes with the body.  If I can do it, I want the head on the basic g3m figure, so I can shape the body from scratch - I'm not overly happy with the way this one bends, etc.  I may just be expecting too much and it's probably more trouble than it's worth.  I don't have the modelling skills, either lol.

There's a relatively simple workflow described here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/454542/#Comment_454542 - for splitting left/right side of morphs, but it should be the same for splitting body part morphs. I haven't yet tried it but I mean to =)

Ah, yeah, I've tried saving just a head morph before and it didn't work for me either.

Beautiful work!! That poor guy with only one wing - that's so sad. There's a story here! I love images that tell a story or even make you look closer and wonder what the story is.

Very cool work! I absolutely love the vibrant colors too!

Thanks Everyone. I like color a great deal! Yes, Umber is the one with no wing. But I have plans to get him one courtesy of Midnight Stories cybernetic wings- evenually.

Ahhhh I love waking up to see some sexy men on a lazy Sunday morning - this thread never disappoints! heheh

@Darwins Mishap(s) He's looking good! I'd love to see his brows a bit thicker but that's just me being nit-picky! lol He looks great as is too. :)

@evilded777 Wow! That's my favorite of your renders so far! If he was cropped from the neck up I'd swear it was a photograph! Sweet work!! What skin is that?

Why from the neck up? What's "off" about the rest of him?

Its Michael 6 Nevio skin, but I made some personal tweaks and built a translucency map of my own

Well, it's not bad at all, it just has a couple "tells" below the neck that make it not look photo-real. The shoulder looks like it's a bit out of socket. With the shoulder back and twisted like that the peck and upper body should twist a little bit more in that direction as well. It looks a bit unnatural. The skin in the middle of the chest (the highlights) look a bit too glossy and smooth. That's just IMO of course. :)

It looks awesome! The subtle color variations and skin spots add a some amazing realism - it looks really good!
