This turned out rather odd, I think.   @Serene Night , I don't think he knows what he's doing lol    I add something to the image, wander off and watch tv.  Add or remove something, put the dogs out for a toilet break.  Add or removee something else and more tv... 5 hours of "wandering and adding/removing" later, I figured I really should render it.  So, I did laugh

This is the updated version - all the sparkly hotspots have been rendered out (8 hour render, compared to 30 mins).  Originally posted version is still in my gallery.

I love the lighting coming in through the window. The veins look great too. Are you using displacment maps for that or a Daz product?

@Knittingmommy  - Thanks.  The main difference is on the side of the face and filing cabinet.  Both are much smoother now.  It'll be stinking hot with no humidity, when summer gets here, I might add smiley

@divamakeup  - Thanks Diva.  This is the Drako skin and the veins are part of the normals, I think.

Hmm, maybe I should have dropped a pen on the floor.

Ah, that's when both the socks and the underwear become optional!  wink

Hmm, yes, but only if he plans to bend over and pick it up!  Do you have a DA page for those types of pictures?

My latest image.  This is the original.  I did some postwork and turned it into an old photo for the PC+ monthly contest.  The postworked version can be seen there or in my gallery.

edit: added an 'h' to the word monthly,  grr!

I was going to ask if your could make the one you entered in the contest look like an old Polaroid or photo print from the 70s, you know the prints that get a yellow, red, or orange overcast hue to them? It looks really good. For that 70s 110 Pocket Camera look you can introduce a bit of blur and a matte to the image. Maybe Google Nik Tools has those filters?

I'll have to think take a look at the Nik Tools tomorrow.  So far, I've only tried a few as there are a ton of things you can do with them.  I'm really just getting into doing cool postwork techniques.  I'll be putting a post up tomorrow in my Laboratory thread to show how I did the postwork for the monthly contest because I used both Filter Forge and GIMP.  I may try out some other effects and see what kinds of other effects I can do before I make the post.

He was suppose to be blowing a kiss, but I couldn't get it to look exactly right. Any ideas?

My favorite image of him so far.  This one would sell me on getting the character!

Given his stance and, the angle he is looking at the camera, I would try have him blow the kiss with the other arm as it is closer to the camera and might make more sense.  Not sure, but that's what I would try.  I do like your lighting and basic pose.

Amazing renders! I follow silently this thread from the beginning and really like what I see. It's inspiring!

I was playing with the Randomizer and liked what I got. It's a simple portrait of G2M.

I think to give the illusion of blowing a kiss the hand needs to be closer to the mouth and the lips should pucker more. I like the dramatic lighting.

Looks more like he has to do some choirs and he is waving his hands in the dirdction of the choirs with disdain. It's still good though. The lower lip should be more rounded. Try taking the expression off, use phoenome for 'Oh', hand closer to the mouth, the eyesbrows now raised and the eyes not narrowed. And people almost always do a bow at the hips when they blow a kiss.

@evilded777 I liked that in the gallery, but you have a good use of that freckle product which I bought and haven't tried yet, and oh my brows, really does a good job for the ginger eyebrows.

Okay here was my latest one. When I saw this pose in jepe's pack for Gen 2 Male, I had to convert it and try it out. It was just too unusual of a pose not to attempt it.

@5200north  - go outside, it's much more fun.  Especially if you take your laptop loaded with Daz smiley  Speaking of being "real", quite a few of my models get manboobs, if I put them in the wrong pose.

Might I suggest the hand in front of the face?

Taking a stab at using geoshells for tattoos. Not perfect but, not terrible, had to fix some weird overlapping in PS. Seams, by the way are all together evil. angry
