Excellent work! I really like how detailed his hands are! Are you using displacement maps?

Thanks everyone.  I'm not worried about it, although I'll probably get a rap over the knuckles for mentioning it.  And it gives me a bit of a nudge to complete the secone image devil  - I do my best work when you're all in bed.

@byrdie - you hit the nail on the head, in regards to imagination.  Unlike the naked lady that's currently on the front page of the gallery.  She doesn't leave much to the imagination lol

OK, here's an image that doesn't rely on the viewers imagination angel        Sometimes, making clothes dynamic has unexpected results!!

It's Tuesday in a few minutes, so I'm out of here.

Dynamics. :sigh: I am so envious of anybody who can manage that. The few times I tried it resulted in a hilarious mess and hours of hair pulling. Not to mention speech of the kind that had sailors lining up to take lessons. Dunno if Studio's are any easier but Poser's gives me the fits to the point of giving up and sticking with plain old conforming.

I really like the 'look' the guy behind the divider is giving the Doc!  Priceless! Nicely mussed look to the clothes!

HAHA!! I love this! The mussed clothes and the rumpled hair on the guy behind the screen really sells it. laughyes

I haven't posted any renders in awhile.  I've been working on this one and just uploaded it to my gallery.  This is using DarwinsMishap's William who I really like.  He has a great skin and I really like his eyes.  I think he turned out pretty good.  Best seen in full size.  Rendered in Iray.  Minimal post in GIMP.

edit: forgot to mention those brows.  My first time playing with those Oh My Brows product.  Super cool.
edit: fixed vendor name.  really bad when you add mess up those names. I moved the apostrohpe where it belongs.

I've never been able to figure out Dynamic clothing either. I load the clothing item and it just sits there like it's in "zero pose" reguardless of what pose the figure/character is in. I don't know what to do from there. There is no "fit to" or anything like that that I can see. I'm sure there is a trick to it, but I've not been able to figure it out.

Now I want to know if you look like Ian Richardson. At the very least, you ought to do an older guy looking arch and dapper in a suit!

This is amazing. I love his skin! There are visible veins!!! Is that part of the texture or did you do something special to get that effect? O_O

No, I didn't do anything special.  That's part of the skin texture.  Lighting really helps to bring them out, but I didn't do any thing that special.  And, yeah, I love those veins, too.  It's one of the great things about this skin!

My movie star looks are more akin to Creature from the Black Lagoon.

No! They can't be that bad!  I have to say, though, that Creature from the Black Lagoon was and still is one of my favorite go to movies when I want to watch classic monster movies.  :)  He was kind of cute for a monster. ;)

The brows are the first thing I noticed.  Well done, madam!  Of all the weird things, I rather like the tiles, too.

Aren't those great tiles?  Those are from Homestyle Iray Shaders, tile #6 if you happen to have it.

Well, @knittingmommy, that's one of my favorite images that you have done.

I didn't buy William, but I may have to after looking at your picture. The best promo pictures all have the scars on his face. And I'm not a big fan of those painted up faces either. But I'm pretty sure Darwinsmishaps usually includes a "clean" texture (for lack of a better word). At least all of his products that I bought so far have included one. So I suppose I am save in buying it, after seeing your image.

I mean, there are times you might need a face with scars or a face with paint on it, but it's not something I think I would use every day. So as long as their is a regular texture included...

Very nicely done- thank you for using him in this.  Love it.

I always leave a 'clean' texture, yes, if there is make up or scarring involved.  Not everyone wants them!  I do try to remember a no brow option as well in my characters for those who want to edit the base textures for their own or use mesh brows as well.  I've always had issues with brows as a customer, and until I learned how to do it myself had to be very picky in buying sets because of it.

Thanks, KevinH!  Yes, all of DarwinsMishap's guys that I've bought have had a base skin without all the makeup and scars.  I wasn't too crazy about the scars, either, as it isn't the type of thing that I use much, but I really liked his face and I knew from what I read that there was a non-scar version so I got him.  I love him.  I highly suggest you save up and buy him!  One of the best figure purchases I've made for G3M to date.  I think that skin is going to be one of my go to skins, too.  I've already got ideas to use that freckle product I got awhile back to add some freckles and see how it looks with one of my own morphed characters.

Thank you very much, divamakeup!  :)  That hair is the JayBird Hair that was in the Kimo 7 bundles.  I used Slosh's UHT2 on the hair, though, so that isn't one of the original textures.

I have to admit that I impressed even myself with this one.  :)

I haven't done a lot of rendering lately - busy with a new house, commitments and just not feeling inspired. I had started set dressing Cafe Luca to give it a more unique feel and re-lighting it for IRAY. My idea is to do a series of renders of the workers and customers.

Serene Night - Thanks so much.  :)  Not sure if that was a typo or intentional, but don't change it if hung was a typo cause it made me smile.  ;)

    Something a little different.

That's really a zen looking fellow. I like it.
