Looks nice, @divamakeup. But I'm not sure what you mean by cross figure. I know there's that product that you can try if fit to doesn't give the best results. But I'm thinking you're not referring to that product. And I'm not aware of any other.

    My Angel.

He flexed and the top strap came loose... that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

@Butch  Funny!  I am, um, love the one sitting down.  It's a great, interesting pose.  ;)  Excuse me while I go off to see if anything new has been added to your DA page!

So I've been distracted rendering pretty ladies, and figured I ought to get back to rendering some pretty boys. This is a technically a test render but that didn't stop my from post working it

TBF this also has one of my pretty ladies, so I guess its a friend of michael and friend (although she is dressed almost entirely in clothes from the various generations of michaels)

Pretty boys and slightly intimidating women is pretty much my #aestetic

It's Cross-Figure - it comes with a morph (under Peramiters >> Cross-Figure) that lets you change a female character into a male and vice versa. The original character was female - I turned her into a guy with Cross-Figure. :)

Another character made with Cross-Figure. :)

The only down side is that the front peck/ex-breast area doesn't smooth out completely. So you have to cover that area when rendering or fix it in post.

Lovely render. A sweet, tender moment. :) Is that Gwennili?

Its mostly Ronya, the texture is certainly, and I used nearly all the morph, though there is also plenty of dial spinning going on there, including some Lucian. I did use some of the HD morph from Gwenilli though, I've started using those on most of my characters. The hand and lip details from that are great

My latest young man. He's based on Elijah, but with an assortment of face and body morphs. I call him Carl.

I took him home and fed him a good square meal (or two) and got him an office job - here's that other version.

hahah Me too! ALL of my G3F characters now how Gwenilli's HD bits dialed in. I think she and Elijah are, to me, the two best figures (figures that have the most realism) available right now from Daz.

A variation on the morph of my last character, also the new trading floor outfit is pretty glorious, The shirt is a bit staid though so I managed to squeeze the shirt from the eldritch seeker outfit underneath its just a bit more rakish that way ;)

I've really been feeling flatter lighting recently

This guy looks amazingly real. You know, a guy you could meet on the street. Nicely done.

  • Here's my latest guy render - Elijah keeps stealing screen time...

I like this, he sort of reminds me of the Newt guy who was in the most recent Harry Potter movie, Eddie something-or-the-other. And the eldritch shirt looks really good under that jacket.

This is a great piece as well- the flatter lighting really sets it apart.  Love the morph as well.

Been doing actual renders instead of tests- this one is called Alerted.

He looks wonderful! I'm so digging the way you do guys - not just the normal pretty boys, but the occassional world worn warrior as well. Excellent characters!

@Gerterasmus  I managed to miss this the last time I went through the latest additions!  Very nice!  :)

@Jcade  Nice looking fellow.  He kind of reminds me a little of David Tennet.  :)

Great stuff, as usual, everyone.  I've been down with a dead computer for two weeks (praise and offerings to Technical Boy for preserving all my custom characters that damn really ought to be backed up -- and bonus points to you if you get the reference).

Here's a few I whipped up to illustrate an article about lighting and tone mapping 'dark' renders. Gallery links included if you want to 'thumbs up'. If you want to see the article head to my Bring on the Boys thread for a link.

Such a meanie!  You really should splurge on at least one more pair!  Nice image, though.  :)
