I am unable to sleep that much unless I was sick.  Even then I have to wake up to eat or visit the bathroom.  Once I start to feel better I would browse the web and the Daz forum.

Morning. A  swelling chorus of songbirds filling to overflowing the soft liminal brightness between night and day as the sun peeks over the horizon :)

It is raining and pouring outside.  I want to go home but there is no way to get taxi here earlier than four.

the sun neither here nor there, or is it?

At the certainty of being pedantic, I suggest that from our point of view the sun is definitely not here, so it must be there. yes However, the light and heat from the sun is composed of photons.  Photons are massless particles.  Massless particles travel only at the speed of light.  Particles that travel at the speed of light have no sense of time. indecision  Things that have no sense of time don't know the difference between then and now.  indecision Things that don't know the difference between then and now have no concept of distance.indecision So, the heat and light of the sun are (from their point of view) both there and here simultaneously. surprise  But the price paid for this omnicient omnipresent existence is that it lasts for zero time. crying

Perhaps tis better that we be massy particles mired in spacetime so we at least have an illusion of here and there, then and now, and can imagine a future. enlightenedsmiley

...bugger, they took the sun out of the forecast for this weekend. Still supposed to be in the low 70s tomorrow but cloudy and now heavy rain (in excess of 1") is in the forecast for Sunday.  Guess it makes sense as there is a major outdoor event in the city (The Portland Marathon).

Maybe because there is some debate as to why it was named America, and who it was truly named after.

I of course favour the idea that it was a Welshman named Richard ap Meric    (Richard, son of Meric)  http://http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/discovery/exploration/naming_04.shtml
