it sucks to have to work for a living. lol

'plaints - i need a bigger kitchen. bigggger with vent thingees, a kitchen island, one of those smooth-top ovens with 6 heater spots.

No arguments there. I'd love to stay home and write and render all day, but.. bills.

I imagine you can't use blowers to clear snow like you can with leaves because wet stuff is heavy. Still trying to imagine what it would be like if it snowed here. WE get ice storms where big blocks of ice fall out of the sky, but it all melts in minutes :)

There are snow blowers. Very different animal, though. :)

Yeah, I can't afford one of those. Especially since the ones worth buying are not very cheap. The low-end units are mostly useless except for a dusting, as I understand it from those who've used them.

Tell me about it. And yet, I can't get hired. I've been out of work for quite a while now. Different issues have held me up, kept me down, jerked me around. And depression has hindered my concentration and ability to pick up new stuff quickly like I used to. My area of expertise has become a dinosaur, so I have to learn new stuff. It isn't working out well. Been using my website as a tool to learn new things, while at the same time hoping that I can make money with it...if I could only get it finished.

Tired of working for someone else and then being laid off, while they hang on to their millions as they close the company, but I lose all my savings and pile up debt.

Meh, complaint: looking for a new place to live is a pain in the tailfin! >:(

I'm going to end up shoving a huge pile of cash on my prepaid VISA and going to an extended stay residence at this rate. Expensive but I can do it and still have deposit + rent money, so it's not as bad as it could be. Because of the tech companies and the University, there are a lot of inexpensive hotels/extended stay places in and around town.

I'll probably sneak a backpack full of goodies into the office and store 'em under my desk.. all my critical paperwork, elctronics, and the like. They're plenty safe here! :)

Back to emailing out inquiries.. sigh. :blank: Gonna need a beer by the time I get home.. :blank:

It's always hard finding a new place to live. It can cost you an arm and a leg to get into somewhere

    @Dana: thanks! :)

@Frank: yeah, I'd hate to be a student or low-wage worker trying to get an apartment! :gulp:

I do DS/Poser content for a living and it is our only income. To get into our current place we had to fork our a security deposit, and first and last month rent, and pet deposit. It was very painful.

Wet socks are no fun. Cold feet and slippery floors. Do you have a suspect?

    Well, yes.
She is ten years old and calls me mom.
She is also the last person known to have entered into the apartment this evening.
    There shall be an interrogation.

Bright, sunny, warm, and clear here. :)

No worries about it raining cats, just the occasional squirrel. I swear one tried to do a cartwheel down a redwood tree out back today. :ohh:

Which is why I say "When it comes to reality, by the only objective standard I am aware of, I'm normal."
