Tomato Donkey
Some days learning new things in Carrara is a joy, and some days it is a pain. Today was the latter.
WIP #2: Cubemato
Going from realism in my first one to more abstract. I've got one more idea that will take a little time to model and texture and then I will jump around between them finalizing things.
Images attached:
wow that looks terrific, wonderful to see people stepping out of the box
I am rendering a psychadelic tomato based video
there may have been some suspect wild mushrooms in my salsa
a video may not qualify but I do not care
doing it anyway
Can't wait to see the video, some of those look amazing!
Video is done
uploaded to my Tom R. Toe channel
I am so glad you posted the video to the tomato challenge thread. You are still my heroine. Just skimmed the youtube channel. Haven't seen some the dancing Gramps videos yet. Much to look forward to.
Wow - psychedelic! It seemed very fast though - I would love to see a slowed version that let's you see some of the changes, it looked very creative!
awesome
now, if that was a tomato juggling clowns with razor sharp knives
Thanks, it is not really going to be an entry bècause once again all those rules.
I do videos for Tom R. Toe's channel from time to time anyway so just another for my fans there really.
I used Octane to render and Hitfilm to composite it as well so not ever going to comply.
what rules?
didn't you do the final animation render in Carrara?
was all rendered in Carara using Octane plugin.
I compiled the mp4 from the image series in Hitfilm overlaying the emotiguy tomato alpha png series there and the audio track.
Also the small fact it's a video!!!
so in fact finally rendered in Hitfilm to mp4 using the images rendered in Carrara.
HeadWax is that tomato by the teddy hiding something?
as 'Supweme Wuler' that's good enough for me ...
because it's a video don't mean anything.... it's done with Carrara
picked up the freebie skull the other day when it was released but between kids, grandkids and family stuff didn't get a chance to post it... till now.. 5 minutes break in life
modelled the sauce bottle and of course the tomatoes
Real Good Renders be here... Great work CarrarArtists!
I've just started tonight and have already run into problems... see the pics. This was only a test render... once I get started on a scene to place the character the entire look will change... trying to decide now what my next step will be... work on background??... perhaps load an interior or even create a terrain. Ahh... what to do... what to do. This is the pose I came up with from a slightly modified preset one... that will stay basically the same... might do away or rather replace the overalls since the left leg doesn't create much of a shadow or difference over the other leg even with some spot lights I added at different settings. BTW: The skin tone comes from the Key spot light, see pic for color used.
Oh... I plan to replace the hamburger, it has a few slices of tomato on it which aren't seen very well, with a single tomato. Hard to find any tomatoes Headwax and Wendy are using a lot... everyone else have used the rest... guess I'll have to shop a different market.
Forgot... go to CarrarArtist Logo if you want to have the 2 versions of the logo I modeled.
Some more fun with Marcello's killer tomato file.
wgdjohn - Looking forward to seeing the complted work.
Diomede - had an attack of the giggles when I saw that !!!!!
Diomede - reminds me of the pulp comic style, great work!
Thanks, Phil. The Carrara hair is something I really like, but it doesn't do very well with the toon filter or the NPR. So, for that image I used the volumetric pass so that I could combine the photoreal dynamic hair with the toon filter - and a few other adjustments.
Here is some more silly. Just playing with morphs for the killer tomato head.
ROFL
Going for sort of a "Better Homes and Gardens" feel with this one.
The books on the table and on top of the bookcase and the plant on the bookcase are from i13 sets. The bowl is part of the included Carrara content. Everything else modeled by me in Blender (the art on the wall and the couch) and Carrara (everything else) and textured in Substance Painter and Carrara. Fuzzy pillow and rug both use Carrara Dynamic Hair.
The image is mostly done, just working on the text still.

Very nice !!!!
