    ..again, thank you.

Now if only my stupid connectivity issues would clear up. Spent twenty five minutes just trying to get to the email bot for this thread to open and give me the link only to get failure after after failure. I 'm connected but Gmail kept insisting I was not. Absolute "horse apples" if you ask me. I already filed a support ticket with them about this but no acknowledgement that they were even working on the issue.

What I think is happening is that instead of just opening the email when I log on, it keeps accessing a whole host of Google apps which I believe is clogging up my connection. I mentioned all I want is just the email, nothing else.

While trying to submit this I keep getting a "Server not found" error even though I am connected. This is becoming really stupid.

@KK: I haven't received any bots for this thread in so long that I would probably have a heart attack if I did. Congratulations on your freedom. Relax and live; you certainly deserve it.

Blech, 45 more minutes before i can leave.

I think a stop on the way home for some beer, then a Whataburger Patty Melt for dinner! Throw on some tunes, kick back, and chill.

Hopefully I can get some quality time plotting in this weekend, and maybe blast out a flash fiction piece or two. I have some great ideas (hee hee)! :vampire:

Looks like I'll be writing horror and fantasy, those are the things I prefer to read and that I get excited about writing. :) But no romance.. I can NOT write romance worth a darn! :bug: And I had a pen name all picked out!

I was going to suggest "Barbara Cartland for a Romance nom de plume, but it seems to be already taken.
By the way, you've never heard "nom de plume" until you've heard me say it; kinda like "nom dee plum-ee". I like nothing better than to settle in with a nice Harlequin book and chow down on some horse doovers. :)

    Hello how is everyone?

Is raining here, a real novelty, so doing pretty darn fine right now :)

    Glad you're getting some relief!

    Dana

I like rain. I know it makes floods but where we are it leaves puddles everywhere, as if a giant mirror was broken and 'm walking in its reflecting shards
That metaphor manages to sound both poetic and dangerous. :cheese: :ahhh:

Kyoto Kid I was sorry to read the short version of your post here in another thread. Reading the full version here gives me a better outlook on my day and how you are doing. Please know you have all my best wishes with you and I hope you only the best in your quest to move onward and upward.

Enjoy your free time and cook your heart out. I also love to cook but seldom have all the free, for me left alone, time to do it as I would really like.

...Dana TA. MFM, and ps1borg thank you for the support.

Actually I feel as if a big weight has been removed from my shoulders.

Went to "my downtown" (the Hawthorne District of Portland) and stopped at my favourite pub there to celebrate my "freedom" from bad workplace politik and 4 hours of commuting a day. One friend gave me not just one but two lovely cigars to smoke. Also got a glass of one of my favourite "peaty" Scot's whiskeys.

Time to move onward and upward.

Currently dining on a homemade Teriyaki dinner.

I love to cook and now I have the time.

    sounds good!

raising glass - a toast to freedom -- cheers :)

i was 5yo in '69. Witchiepoo and Orson scared me back then.

I've been experiencing a kind of homesick longing for the old Saturday morning shows.
    old Johnny Quest.
found a Sigmund episode with Jack Wild. oh what a dreamy dude he was, looks good in denim.

i was trying to see if the cube primitive was pre-uvmapped. which now seems silly to assume.

is it the same as not being there? can i select verts behind it?
no hole material will take some getting used to.

also, it's snowing out. i should bake christmas cookies while it's snowing.

...here it just made everything damp and cold. Beautiful day yesterday. However for me now every day is sort of a "weekend" so it doesn't matter as much if it's nice during the week and "yankee-echo-charlie-charlie-hotel" on Saturday/Sunday.

...gave up on Hex for the same reason, however in my case, I never got the "Hexagon encountered a problem..." pop up it would just freeze up and force me to shut down the process in Task Manager.

Paid 54$ for it on sale several years ago. Never was able to model a thing because of all the instability.

    ...now I am learning Blender.

i'm test driving the wings 1.4.1. managed a couple of crash dumps, but it recovered with a left mouse click.

i love the geodome. how to uvmap that sucker for minimum seamage?

i think there is a vray for Blender :)

tried some basic commands in the v1.4 wings. worst comes to worst, i could export the project obj and continue in v95.5.

starships to build! and a jade dragon palace.
