    Oh man what a bleh kind of day, not so much a runny nose as a floody one, after two boxes of tissues it kinda glows red in the dark :lol: Still, not chesty at all and not hot so just a head cold :)

    - Tiny efficiency apartment is PERFECT for a writing den :coolsmile:

    Hot autumn here, not much rain although a windstorm caused a cartload of havoc in the inner city, that was annoying and fatal for a few. I'd swap a cold nose for my very overheated one right now :)

    It's raining and it's cold
    And I think I'm growing mold
    Everything around is drippy damp!
    The weather is upsetting
    And you also know I'm betting
    The humidity will soon cause me a cramp!


    The sun is hid away
    You can't even tell it's day
    The clouds they are covering the sky!
    I'm stuck here in my cube
    Like some hopeless helpless rube
    All I can do is sit and code and cry!


    I'm hungry for a meal
    Crispy tacos make me squeal
    But the rain outside is coming down in loads!
    Like cats and dogs it's yowling
    With some purring and some howling
    Soon it's going to be raining toads!

    I wish the rain would go away
    Trapped inside I watch it pour
    Makes my working day a bore
    Drippy drops on window pane
    Slowly driving me insane
    I'll be walking home in mud
    If I don't drown in a flood.


    Guess my hair will get a muss
    While I'm waiting for the bus
    There's no shelter at the stop
    So I'll be wearing every drop
    Cars will splash damp on my toes
    And throw road tar on my clothes
    I guess some cash I should grab
    Go ahead and call a cab.


    Weather here in Austin's funny
    Wet today, tomorrow sunny
    Looks like it will get real warm
    and the Sun will cause me harm
    I've no hat and I've no hair
    So my head is very bare
    Bright red sunburn on my face
    And likely every other place.

    I kind of like the rain, just not while I'm driving. It has been raining in the evenings here lately, but the sun came out today and its been beautifully warm and clear. Even looks like there may be a good crop of fruit on the trees this year. Trying to see the good and positive...

    @ Woolyloach... Bravo. You will let us know when you publish a scholarly, complaint thread collection of all your forum poetry,... perhaps in your DAZ Memoirs, right? ;-)
